We have stayed in several villas over the years at Sands Beach and this is definitely the best. This was our 3rd stay in this villa and it will not be our last. Although it was only the 2 of us this time, and we could have booked a smaller villa, we didn’t even consider it as we love this place so much. We stayed for 3 weeks and the new mattress downstairs (matching the one upstairs) was so comfortable, and now, along with this, the new bathroom and vanity area are just fantastic. The latest addition is the new fitted wardrobe in the downstairs bedroom, which is great with lots of storage. You can tell that this is the owner’s holiday home and not just a holiday rental. The villa is constantly updated and kept to a very high standard. We love the location and having the sun on the patio all day until late evening meant we could have a glass of wine in the sun before going out for a meal. It’s the little extra touches that make this a home from home, great Wi-Fi, new sun beds, sun bed mattresses, washing machine, dishwasher and the filtered-water tap. You couldn’t wish for anything more. Walter is a superb host and was a great help and support when I was suddenly taken ill and unable to travel home on the last day of the holiday. He let us stay on a few nights even though he was due to have more work done replacing the wardrobes downstairs. We were so grateful for this as it meant we were able to seek medical treatment and cancel our travel plans without having to worry about where we were going to sleep that night. He helped us find alternative accommodation in advance of his next guests arriving, and kept in touch over the next 3 weeks until we were able to fly home. This was a great help and support during this very stressful time. Thank you Walter and Judy for allowing us to share your wonderful home.
The Villa is very nice! The terrace is sunny all the day and afternoon, the pool and the location are very nice. It''s really great running tracks just outside the resort. Easy to get parking place for a car. Walter is superb host!
Very nicely located apartment on the Sands Beach resort, it’s a real suntrap. The apartment has everything you need over set over two floors. Including two modern shower rooms and a fitted kitchen that has a washing machine, dishwasher and oven. It is very suitable for those wanting to self cater and maybe having an extended stay in the resort. Excellent value for money, we have already re booked for our next stay. Communication from the owner has been very good before and during our stay.
We had a most enjoyable stay here last week. Very comfortable with every convenience, sunshine on the patio all day long, brilliant location, 20 metres to the pool, 3 minutes to the beach. 5 minutes to the supermarket. Excellent all round.
The villa is very spacious, very good quality of furniture and fittings, well maintained and clean, perfect for our needs. There are plenty of utensils and cooking equipment although we didn’t make full use of them as we ate out mostly but did have lunch at the villa. Sands itself is perfectly located for the beaches, restaurants, bars and shops and we enjoyed walking into town every night. Great communication with the owner from start to finish thank you Walter.
