We have just returned from a wonderful holiday at Villa Jacarandas. The host, Steve is brilliant, really helpful and a great communicator. He was on hand very quickly when we had one minor problem with one of the shower heads ( which was replaced before we needed to use it again). Some of the highlights were:- The Villa- great layout and very clean Comfortable beds with good quality bedding White fluffy towels Extremely well equipped kitchen Little extras , like kitchen roll , foil etc. already there. Air con in all bedrooms and lounge Huge amount of storage space Location - don’t need a car, everything on your doorstep. Pool area absolutely stunning - very clean. Beautiful garden well maintained. Overall, this was one of the best stays we’ve had in the Costa del Sol and we have visited yearly over the last 13 years. We would return without hesitation.
I stayed here with my family (wife, 2 children and in laws). We had the most amazing time. The villa was everything we needed and more. One of our children is severely autistic but the villa was perfect for him. It was secure, has a beautiful big garden at the back and of course the pool. The air conditioning throughout was a god send if you want to escape the blistering heat and kept it comfortable on a night. The grounds of the villa are well maintained and beautiful. The location is more than ideal, with a major supermarket literally at the end of the street. Although this is closed On a Sunday. There are a selection of cafe bars, shops and a pharmacy on the parade at the end of the street also. A short 10 minute walk down the road and you have some beautiful restraints. We visited the Argentinian steakhouse La Estancia which was phenomenal. The beach is again a 10 minute walk away. There really is no need to hire a car. The kitchen is well equipped (hob, oven, air fryer, microwave and a good range of pans and utensils). We did 90% of our cooking on the BBQ outside which was fantastic. The Host Steve was very informative of the local area and gave us a thorough run through of the villa and how everything worked. He was a phone call away if we needed anything. Would highly recommend for families. The villa has and is everything you need
Hey, this villa is a must. A home from home.! It has everything you need, no car required, short walk to the local shops , restaurants and bars. Beach is a short walk away too. Steve the host is local and always at hand if there is anything you want to know. I’ve been going to this villa since my youngest daughter was a baby, she’s now 18.. Beds are comfy, kitchen is well equipped. It’s an amazing family, couples and friends.. suits all..

The location of the Villa is in a cul-de-sac.... 2mins walk from a fab Supermarket, a parade of restaurants and shops (1 of which is a Waitrose!) The beach is approx. a 5min walk . Perfect all round ,, Thanks again Steve
Myself and 5 friends spent a great week in Calahonda. The Villa Jacarandas is spacious, clean and comfortable, with everything you need for a stress free holiday. The garden is beautiful…… ideal if you have children, as there is table tennis, swing ball and badminton equipment, with a grassy area in the back garden to play on. The pool was fabulous, (although too deep to stand up in so our non-swimmers needed flotation aids…….) Perfect for swimming and cooling off in the heat. Location is ideal, with bus stop and taxis about 200 yards away, and a short 2 min walk takes you to supermarket, shops and cafés. Beach, boardwalk and restaurants within easy walking distance. Steve, the owner, lives next door and is easy to contact if you need anything. Highly recommend.
My fiancée and I had a wonderful week in the Villa Jacarandas at the end of October. The villa is in a quiet little cul-de-sac in the small town of Calahonda. Having originally contemplated renting villas in more rural and out-of-the way areas, we decided the convenience of being in a town was probably a better idea. I’m so glad we did! Villa Jacarandas offers the perfect blend of privacy and convenience. Within a 1-2 min walk of the villa there is a supermarket, shops, bars and restaurants and the beach front is also just a 5-10 minute walk away. The thing is, you really don’t feel like that when you’re in the villa. The little cul-de-sac is quiet and peaceful, with plenty of parking space and there’s barely any noise to be heard from the nearby shops and facilities. We did rent a car, which we used for various excursions, but we also had some evenings out in the local area and it was great not having to worry about having a drink or two. We could just stroll leisurely back to our little home from home… …and the villa really did feel like a little home from home for a week. The outside is lovely and spacious, with a generous covered outdoor dining area and table, gas barbecue and power. The gardens are utterly idyllic - beautifully-kept and strategically grown to provide maximum privacy. The pool is lovely too and a good size, with a deep end and a shallow end with steps in. Inside the villa is similarly well-kept and maintained. It’s very spacious, with a very well-equipped kitchen – we found everything we needed with ease - and a large dining area and table. The living room has lovely comfy leather sofas and chairs and a good size TV with great service, including Sky Premium channels etc. In the evenings we found the living room very nice and cosy to cuddle up in and chat or watch a bit of TV. The wifi was also flawless. The bedroom is a good size and we slept very well in the nice, big comfy bed. The ensuite bathroom has dual sinks and a big, well-lit mirror. In between the ensuite and the bedroom is a large dressing area with mirrors and a wall-to-wall wardrobe. I can honesty say, I’ve never enjoyed so much space (and coat hangers!) to put all my clothes in on a holiday! Steve, the owner, is great! He’s easy to communicate with, before, after and during your stay and he’s super helpful and knowledgeable about the local area and the Costa del Sol in general. He lives right next door too, so if you need him for anything he’s right there, but otherwise, he leaves you completely alone to relax and enjoy your stay. I should also mention that I proposed to my beautiful fiancée during our holiday. We had a wonderful meal at The Beach House restaurant in Marbella (which I’d also highly recommend) where I proposed on the beach at sunset. We were then whisked back to the villa in a chauffeur driven car. At the villa, Steve and his partner Gloria had decorated the place inside and out beautifully, with scattered rose petals and candles and champagne and nibbles laid out on the similarly decorated outside table. All lit up in the early evening, it looked stunning and very romantic. Obviously, Steve and I had arranged all this beforehand – we’d been exchanging messages and he’d been ordering in all these items over the course of several weeks leading up to our holiday. His partner Gloria had then added some wonderful creative flare to my ideas on the day, setting this all up whilst we were at the restaurant. I’m not sure if they’d want me to advertise this, but honestly, they did an amazing job! Thank you so much to you both. Bottom line: if we ever visit this part of the Costa del Sol again, we will definitely be staying at Villa Jacarandas again!
