Our only complaint is we were not staying longer!! What a beautiful villa up in the hills with the most gorgeous views of the sea. The road up, as others have described- typical of Spain's mountain tracks - drive slowly when needed and it’s fine! 5 nights over Christmas and we have felt thoroughly spoilt, sunshine and blue skies with temperatures around 20c. As soon as we arrived we felt relaxed. Plenty of space - we travelled with my elderly father and daughter and the villa suited us all The living spaces were very comfortable and the outdoor kitchen is a great entertainment area -the heat from the sun kept it warm well into the evening. The kitchens were well equipped- and after finding a turkey cooking a Christmas dinner was effortless. Sally had even ensured a Christmas tree added to our festive stay The beds were very comfortable the rooms modern and well decorated yet the villa itself retained a Spanish feel Heating as well as air con meant we stayed warm at night . WiFi also kept us well connected We didn’t make use of the pool due to the time of year visiting but if staying longer would have made use of the heated option as the weather was warm enough to sit and catch some rays by the pool. We visited Torrox, Torre del Mer and Frigiliana as well as some walks further up into the hills so a great base for exploring and relaxing Definitely somewhere we would love to return too Thank you Sally and Casa Lina Finca del Sol
What a stunning villa the views are amazing the villa was very well matained clean and has everything you need and more! The pool was lovely and the outside are was fabulous highly recommend

Stayed here for a long weekend for a friend's Hen do - it was absolutely fab. The pool was lovely and warm and the villa had everything you could possibly need. No stone has gone unturned here. Everything has been thought about in great depth. The view is incredible. Would absolutely stay here again!
Four of us had a beautiful two weeks at this lovely Villa. The road leading up to the villa is a bit bumpy and steep but didn't cause us any problems. Well worth the climb for the glorious views and tranquility. We decided to book the pool heating which was great - it's a lovely pool in very pretty surroundings. The owner - Sally - was very helpful with information on the area with maps etc. Would definitely recommend.

From the moment we booked Casa Lena we felt at ease. Sally was so through with all the information we needed, especially the drive up to the Villa. It was a little tricky to say the least but once we had done it a few times it was no problem at all. The drive up was 100% worth it the Villa was Fabulous. It was very well equipped , bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable beds. Perfect air con and speedy WiFi. We spent most of our time around the pool and wow the views are incredible something you will not forgot. We visited a few of the places that were recommended to us by Sally which we also really enjoyed. We absolutely loved our week the only down side was it was not long enough so we have booked to return for longer in 2025 and we can’t wait! The perfect Villa in a stunning location definitely 5 Stars from us. Thank you x

We booked this Villa a year in advance and the owner Sally was wonderful from the start. Nothing is too much trouble and no question goes unanswered. By far the best host I’ve ever dealt with across all letting platforms. We were a group of 10 across 3 families and the Villa was a perfect set up for us. Plenty of parking for our 3 vehicles, lots of space to spread out and everybody found their favourite spot to relax. The pool area is fantastic and the entire villa was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The outdoor Kitchen area was a huge favourite of ours and where we did most of the cooking. There wasn’t a single thing that we needed that wasn’t in one of the many drawers and cupboards. The villa is very well equipped throughout. The short drive up the mountain road was no issue for us although it was very useful to have the agent lead us up the first time so we could get our bearings. There are lots of passing spots and good visibility of oncoming vehicles but traffic is very light on this road and the locals are very considerate and more often than not have seen you coming and have already pulled over. Without this drive up the views would not have been as spectacular so it’s well worth the effort. For those who need it the WIFI is great. The kids had no issue with streaming movies on the occasion that they tried. One tip if you stay at this villa. Make sure you visit the seating area in the higher part of the grounds. You can literally watch the sun fall out of the sky as it drops below the mountains and over the sea. Spectacular! All in all a wonderful stay and have already made a few enquiries for our party to return next year. Well done Sally. You are doing an amazing job!
