If you want to get away from it all and relax in perfect surroundings then this is the place for you. On arrival we were met by Fatima and Jimmy who showed us around the beautiful large villa. The villa has everything you could possibly need for a holiday. The weather was brilliant while we were there so we spent most of our time on the enormous pool terrace relaxing ,reading ,swimming and enjoying the odd glass of the local wine.. We can’t comment on things to do in the area as apart from grocery shopping and the odd meal out we never left! That probably says it all. Great communication from the owner Debbie and her on site team. Go you won’t regret it.
We had an amazing 12 days at Casa Lia. Our children (aged 4 and 7) absolutely loved the pool as did we! The villa is really clean, comfortable and spacious. It was very well equipped which made our holiday very easy. It was a nice touch to have the villa cleaned and sheets changed etc halfway through. It is so private and peaceful there, it makes a perfect place to escape. Debbie the owner is incredibly helpful, communicative and friendly. I really can’t think of anything negative to say! Would definitely recommend. Worth noting that you should only stay there if you’re comfortable with the c15 minute drive to get to town/shops etc (which we were). Tavira is a lovely town with nice places to eat and we enjoyed the evening entertainment in the main square that was on throughout the summer.
The villa is secluded and in a lovely location. It was just my wife and I staying and we completely relaxed. The villa has lovely views of the countryside, with the sea in the distance. We spent lots of time by the pool, reading and generally feeling like we'd found a little oasis.
We have stayed in many properties and loved every one of them but there was something very special with this property; the owner and housekeeper. The whole experience was fantastic from beginning to end. Great communication; clean, well equipped property in a stunning location and everything you needed with no hiccups. From swimming pool towels to beach equipment and from herbs and spices to fly covers for food! These were especially useful while we waited for the langoustines to defrost ! Our daughter , who is now nearly 30 has autism and severe learning difficulties and I have never seen her so relaxed on holiday. Thank you Debbie et al for making our holiday just perfect. I could go on for ages but just go and stay here and experience it for yourselves.......
Pictures do not do Debbie’s villa justice, it really is in the most beautiful location with breath taking views. From start to finish Debbie was so helpful and friendly and on arrival and leaving Fatima and Jimmy were great too. We were assured they were on hand should we need them. There is everything you need and more at the villa and it is a lovely home. We hired a car.. which is essential, you soon get used to the roads, and there are lots of beautiful beaches within a short drive from the villa. The supermarkets are great too and easy to get to. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back 😊 Thank you from the four of us for a wonderful family holiday ♥️
This was our second time staying at Casa Lia. This should probably tell you everything about the villa! The facilities at Casa Lia are second to none. There’s everything you could need or indeed, wish for. The house is spotlessly clean, and the beds are very comfortable and there’s efficient air conditioning in every room. The pool is very well kept and the view from the terrace is gorgeous. I’m already missing eating breakfast outside looking at the lovely view. This year the tv selection has been updated, and although I didn’t particularly want to watch tv, the men in our group loved the fact that they could watch an important (to them!) football game. Communication from the owner is wonderful; she is genuinely concerned that your stay is perfect and the local house managers are always available for any questions.
