Casa Angelica was originally a small finca in the middle of nowhere, without road access. Times have changed and now, a tarmac road takes you in 10 minutes from Competa to the renovated house which has everything for a perfect holiday. The spectacular views to the sea and mountains are inspirational, the pool is enclosed, in view from the outdoor sitting room and barbecue. A variety of pool toys are available.

Inside, the house is traditionally decorated. Downstairs, immediately off the hall is a well-equipped kitchen and a dinning room to seat 8 people. This leads to a large sitting room with two sofas, a desk area and television. There are games, many books, a CD player and an efficient log fire for cool evenings. At the other end of the house is a lovely double bedroom with doors out to the terrace and an en-site shower room. There is also a small laundry room.

Stairs lead up from the hallway to the three upper bedrooms. A double and a twin with a family bathroom (shower) and another double room with en-suite bathroom (shower and bath) and its own gorgeous, private upper terrace. All of the bedrooms have air conditioning and there are extra fans in the sitting room, if needed. Rooms have heaters for winter time.

The house is surrounded by its own land with a variety of plants including almond and olive trees, a fig, small vines and a lemon tree - think of fresh lemon in your G & T!. It makes an ideal point for visiting the beaches (35 minutes) and exploring the area.

• We save rainwater from the roof for garden use, please also use water carefully
• The pool (not heated) is open from 1st May to 31st October. Additional dates may be possible, at extra cost, on application

Excellent

By George on 09-Dec-2023

We were recommended this house by relations and it was ideal for us. It is a lovely, traditional house with amazing views and a peaceful country location (but there are neighbours nearby, so you don''t feel isolated). The house was clean and tidy and has everything you need and it is a good base for walking and exploring the area. The road IS narrow and the locals drive fast, so take your time. We loved it!

Very good

A great holiday home with a fantastic view. Everything you need is available in the house. As is usual for the area, the walk to the house takes a little longer, which should be considered if you want to be close to the sea. But you have peace and almost no neighbors. For shopping you need about 10 to 15 minutes by car. The beautiful, large pool and the various seating areas on the terrace deserve special mention.

Such a beautiful house

By Janet on 10-Sep-2022

It was like a breath of fresh air to be back at Casa Angelica after all the Covid lockdowns. It is such a beautiful house in a stunning setting. Swimming in the pool with those sea views and the scent of jasmine in the air is so memorable and every time we come there is something new at the house. In September the countryside was full of wild flowers, the restaurants were not busy and the weather perfect.

Perfect for our large family

By Mark on 12-Oct-2019

Our second visit to Casa Angelica has been as wonderful as the first. This time was even more special with my baby grandson coming too. The large choice of places to sit and the many bedrooms and bathrooms worked perfectly for our large family gathering. My daughters (without any prompting from me) said “Can we come again next year?”. I have already booked! That says it all.

We will return

By Dirk on 15-Jun-2019

A very beautiful finca with great panoramic views of the mountains and the sea. Through the many seats in the garden you will find an opportunity for togetherness with 8 people in the house. We felt very comfortable with our children, grandchildren and friends, and also These infected with our Andalusienfieber.Wie also the times before we were warmly welcomed. We give for the Casa Angelica also 5 stars. In any case, we will return to Andalusia in 2020

Beautiful house

By Martin on 08-Oct-2016

Casa Angelica is very beautiful! The view is fabulous, the terrace is beautiful and the swimming pool is pleasant (large and oh warm). The house has a cozy atmosphere and the living room and bedrooms are large. Oh the three bathrooms are good.
