Beautiful 3 bed Villa with beautiful large private pool, set just outside of bustling Torrevieja. We landed early at Alicante airport and the owner had already been in contact with instructions on how to get to the villla, how to get in and lots of helpful local information. On top of this the owner went out of her way to ensure we didn’t have to wait until later in the day before we were able to access the villa. The villa was comfortable, 3 bedrooms, 1 double and 2 twin rooms, 2 bathrooms one with bath and shower over and the other a shower room. The decor was clean and tidy, not luxury but more than comfortable especially based on the fact we didn’t spend a lot of time inside (aside from sleeping). Air con in all bedrooms was a god send as it was still very hot in the evening. The outside area was lovely, a nice veranda area which allowed you to escape from the sun, set out with a nice large table which would easily allow 6-8 people to dine together - we used this area lots. Stepping down to the pool area, this is layed out with sun loungers which were comfortable and also the off road driveway which was handy with the hire car. The pool itself was amazing. Large at approximately 8m x 4m with steps into it (as opposed to a ladder). It has a shallow and deep end to cater for everyone and is the perfect temperature (or it was in August). The kids were rarely out of the pool when we were there and the adults enjoyed it too. The kids enjoyed a night time swim with lights on at about 10pm. There is a small charcoal BBQ around the side of the villa - we didn’t use this as it was a bit small to cater for 5 and my preference would have been a gas BBQ for minimal hassle. The area itself is very English and very very quiet. The local pub is friendly, serves many different drinks and is friendly and welcoming (English run). They also have lots of things on during the week including quiz nights, singers and karaoke which means you’re never far away from entertainment if you want it. There’s not a lot of traffic around and we found not very many neighbours were in residence adding to the quiet. That said the bright lights of Torrevieja are only a 15 minute drive away. Last year we had a villa in the middle of nowhere hence why hear we looked for something a bit closer to civilisation and this was definitely the place - quiet and relaxed when you want it but not far from lots to do. On the whole the holiday was amazing. The weather was great, the pool was great, and the location was great.
We stayed in the villa in July/August 2024. We'd had an awful experience with cockroaches the previous year in a different villa, so we were quite anxious. However, the villa was beautifully clean with no cockroaches in sight. It was equipped with everything that we wanted. The aircon was a godsend at night, and the space around the table was plenty big enough for the 6 of us. The teenagers were close enough to Lidl to take a stroll when they wanted and the arches are close enough for them to walk to aswell. The pool was a fantastic size, and communication with Jo was fab. She was a great help. We'll definitely be returning!
Best place we have ever rented! The villa was spacious for 5 adults and the pool was so big for a private rental. The villa sat on a large plot with 2 big canopies to keep the sun off, and a lovely covered terrace with large table and chairs where we sat in the evening playing board games with a glass of wine! The bedrooms were all large, and big kitchen with everything you needed to cook a meal, and Lidl an easy 10 minute walk away. Would love to return again if my grown up children want another family holiday.
Fantastic communication from the owners from the first enquiry to the end . We was given lots of useful information beforehand and any question asked was answered quickly. . The villa was clean & spacious as described and everything you needed was there . The pool was a real treat to wake up to daily - it was lovey and clean and the pool maintenance man attended twice a week . We spent most of our holiday outside enjoying the pool, outside area and the sunshine . The location of the villa is perfect and we found it very peaceful. The Italian restaurant at the end of the road was great , alongside coopers bar. Quesada was a short walk away with a choice of so many different restaurants and bars . A Lidl store was close to the villa and reachable by foot if you don’t mind walking in the heat - we always drove .
We have stayed here for the second time. The Villa is perfect. Ideally located to beach spots - as directed along the lemon tree road. Shops are within walking distance. You can access many other towns/villages within an hrs drive or less. The Villa has a feel of privacy and the area is quiet all of the time - you rarely even hear a car. The pool is a great size with a box of beach and pool toys. Genuinely by the end of the second week we referred to the villa as “home”. An excellent villa with everything a family needs!
Had a fabulous week away in Joanne's villa. Excellent communication from start to finish. She also gave us a contact for airport transfers which went very smoothly. The pool is huge, definitely the biggest one we have had in any villa and spacious rooms for a great family stay. Quesada has some lovely bars and restaurants which were about a 12 minute walk away and we used Lidl and Mas y mas for our self catering essentials. A lovely relaxing week away and we will definitely come back again.
