We are just back from our holiday at 8b and all I can say is BEST HOLIDAY EVER... The villa is just perfect. Spotlessly clean with maid service every few days. The villa has everything and more than what would you would need for your stay. Air conditioning in all bedrooms and living area. But for us the outside area was our favourite spot. Beautiful garden with lots of sun loungers for sun bathing and the pool was perfect for cooling down and having family fun time in during the day. The villa is only a short ten minute walk into town where you will find all the bars ,restaurants and shops. Carvoeiro is such a wonderful spot for families. The people are extremely friendly. Taxi service is extremely reasonable too. Carvoeiro is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to. We are still on a downer from our trip but are hoping to get booked again for next year. If you visit this villa you 100% will not be disappointed.
Beautiful presented Portuguese style villa in quiet area. Booked well in advance for 6 adults for holiday early in August 2023. Owner very help from initial enquires and some questions before holiday. Local representative visited in first few days to check how things were and dealt promptly with a very queries during the holiday. Information supplied before holiday very useful including directions to the villa. Whilst a car not 100% essential as 10 mins walk to town and other local restaurants with a couple of small local grocery shops, was very beneficial for 2 weeks to get to larger cheaper supermarkets and tour a bit of the area. The recommendation from the owners of ZITAUTO car hire was excellent. Good value for money compared to other companies, easy pick up and drop off right outside of arrivals, very friendly and no pressure to buy additional insurance as already purchased. They were also very help with some enquires when needed to make a couple of trips to airport mid holiday for later arrivals. Villa was well equipped as described and maid service 3 times a week was excellent. Whilst went out for dinner a number of times, some early evening dips in the pool followed by cocktails on the roof terrace as sun went down and dinner on the patio greatly assisted in a very chilled out holiday. Whilst we used to very hot weather, did make use of the good air con in each room at times. All had an excellent holiday.
A great villa, away from any roads (cul de sac position). Traditona; portugese property with a lovely sized pool and garden. Three full size double bedrooms. 10 mins walk from the centre (albeit a hilly walk). A great property for those with a family.
Loved our fortnight at 8B. The villa is perfect for a relaxing break, great having your own garden, terrace and pool that aren’t overlooked by neighbours. Inside the air conditioning was welcome some particularly hot nights, lots of hot water, comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen give you all that you need. Maid, pool cleaning and gardener came regularly and were high quality. Wider complex is lovely, the on site restaurant good quality. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed out time.
The two of us spent a very happy seventeen days here at the beginning of September. The house is immaculate and very comfortable. It is very well equipped and (importantly for me) has lots of books for essential holiday reading! 8B is very well maintained, everything works and it is quietly situated at the end of a no through road. A beautiful, peaceful and very private garden surrounds the pool - the perfect place for relaxing. If a change of scene is required it's a short, easy walk to the facilities of the main Quinta do Paraiso resort - restaurant, grocery shop, pools etc. We enjoyed a couple of meals at the Oliveira Restaurant there when we were too lazy to walk further. We ate out every night - there's such a good choice of eateries within walking distance. The only thing I would do differently would be to opt for the pool heating at this time of year. While my husband found the pool 'refreshing' it was a little cool for me. The booking process was very straightforward. The owner, Alison, is very accessible and more than happy to chat about the villa and answer any queries you may have. The information pack she provides is very comprehensive. We would have no hesitation in returning and would certainly recommend it to other holidaymakers.
