We had a lovely week at villa Daisy 31st July to 7 August. As return customers (first stayed here in 2018) we were nervous about bringing friends incase it didn’t match our previous holiday! We needn’t have been worried. It is absolutely beautiful. Four generous bedrooms all with en-suite and lots of wardrobe space. Kitchen with everything you could need and spacious living area. Huge balcony too which we didn’t use. The location is great for us. Visited the lighthouse restaurant twice and enjoyed the local Indian restaurant too. Beach nearby and Uber’s cheap. Trips to Vilamoura and Portimão all done easily. Uber drivers couldn’t find us easily so only order when you’re at the meeting spot that way they will come straight to you. There is work on an apartment block but it didn’t bother us. The electric gates were not currently working but we still felt safe. We locked ourselves out one evening but Paul the property manager quickly assisted us. The children spent all week in the pool. The only thing we could ask for as extra would be a speaker to play music. Cleaners attended just after midway through the week and the pool guy and gardener. We hope to return next year, for two weeks of finances allow.
This is a really fabulous villa. Spotlessly clean, well furnished and a lovely pool and bbq area. There was some building work close by which we were made fully aware of when we booked but there was very little noise during our stay. There are nice restaurants within walking distance. We particuarly enjoyed the Lighthouse Grill. The beach is a 15-20 min walk away and has a lovely beach bar and restaurant. Carvoeiro town is a short drive away - around 6 euros by taxi. We will most definitely return.
Just returned from a week at villa Daisy with my family , The villa was Immaculate perfect for a family , great pool , perfect throughout, great location I only wish I had booked longer , will definitely return 10/10 from all the family ,we can’t wait wait to go again !! Excellent from start to finish
We were delighted when we arrived at Villa Daisy for a special holiday with our family. It was even better than our expectations. Everything we needed was there and the few minor problems we had were quickly resolved by Paul and Cindy who were very friendly and helpful. We all loved the swimming pool, especially our grandson who spent hours in it. We paid to have it heated, which I would recommend, as it was warmer than any of our local pools back home. There are plenty of good restaurants in Carvoeiro and everyone in them spoke very good English. There are also a number of supermarkets locally - we used the Apolonia which stocked almost everything. A brilliant holiday.
Just returned back from the beautiful villa daisy. We were there 2 years ago & the villa is still as beautiful & prestine. It is in a great location. Will definitely be returning!!
As we pack to head home after four and a half months here it is with a heavy heart. This beautiful villa has surpassed its description. This is our second year in this wonderful country and we have loved every minute. Cindy and Paul saw to our every need, they are not like caretakers, rather they are like extended family. Making sure everything was in order from the get go, they didn’t hassle us, but were right there when we ever needed them. This is a wonderful villa. It’s warm and not expensive if your utilities are not part of your rental. I can’t tell you how fantastic this place is, other than to say we’ve booked it again for next year. From booking right through till home time, it’s been seamless. Thanks to all for allowing us to enjoy our second year’s retirement. Who knew retiring would be such a pleasure?
