The Space
The interior of the apartment is a clever combination of traditional decor with modern functionality and comfort. The lower floor of the apartment offers a terrace with table and chairs to relax at whilst watching the world go by. Inside the apartment you have wall mounted air-con/heating, a fully-equipped kitchen, shower room, dining table with four chairs, Smart TV with various language channels, Hi-speed Wi-fi, a large L-shaped sofa-bed and comfortable chair. Upstairs the large bedroom welcomes you with two double-patio doors offering the most amazing views to the beach and coastline of Portugal. These lead you out onto the large terrace with table, chairs and two sun-loungers. The bedroom itself has wall-mounted air-con/heating, king size bed, en-suite bathroom, TV with DVD/CD Player, wardrobe, plus more, ensuring you’ll be more than comfortable.

Take breakfast on the terrace in the morning watching the waves crash against the cliffs and the beach come to life. Lunch and sunbath in the afternoon, entertained by the passing tourist boats and private yachts, you may even be fortunate enough to see schools of dolphins! As the evening draws in, dine with the most spectacular sunsets whilst drinking down your favourite sun-downer and finally, be lured into a peaceful sleep by the waves lapping onto the beach, washing all your troubles away.

Carvoeiro is a pretty fishing village, steeped in history and set into the hillside overlooking its very own beach. The village is not over-developed and still retains much of its character, happily boasting examples of the older quaint colourful fishermans’ houses which are tucked neatly away in between the most recent ones.

There are no high rise apartments in the village, which has been quoted to be one of the prettiest villages in the Algarve with picturesque bays, dramatic cliffs to stroll along and a multitude of tucked away beaches, caves and grottos to explore. A place where you are really guaranteed to get a taste of Portugal and the Algarve. There are three main streets, each lined with coffee shops/bars, smart restaurants, bread and pastry café’s and tourist shops. Fresh fish and locally grown fruit and vegetables can be purchased from the daily market in town. Alternatively, you have a small grocery store nearby or larger supermarkets within easy reach by car.

For the discerning golfer and tennis lover, close by are the three well-known golf courses of Pinta, Gramacho and Vale do Milho, as well as the well known “Carvoeiro Tennis Club” which welcomes holiday makers to join club sessions.

With good shopping facilities and an exceptional variety of restaurants catering for all tastes the area provides visitors with the perfect holiday destination.

From the apartment, the beach is a two minute stroll down the hill, or down the steps just across from the apartment, as are all the amenities you need to make your holiday as stress free and transport free as possible.

Everything you require is a stroll away or you can hire electric bicycles or ride the tourist train to give you a further outside view of the area. If wishing to venture further afield to other towns, taxis are available within a few minutes stroll and there are two hire car companies in town. If wishing to take a walk, there are cliff walks with boardwalks to assist in making the journey easily accessible for all ages and abilities.

The Algarve is blessed with over 3000 hours of unbroken sunshine each year and high temperatures in the summer which are cooled by the breeze directly from the Atlantic, making them all the more comfortable.

The province is located in the far south of Portugal and bordered by the Atlantic ocean on two sides and by mountains to the East. It stretches from the Spanish border westwards to the most southerly point of Europe at Cape St. Vincent. One hundred and fifty miles of Portugals’ coast is formed by cliffs overlooking numerous sandy beaches. Places to visit that are not too far from Carvoeiro include the Mountains of Monchique with its rustic restaurants and quaint towns, the historic town of Silves with its Castle, Portimao with its Marina and shopping and, for those who wish to travel further afield, Lisbon with its historic buildings is easily accessed by car, train or bus.
