Well equipped villa with space for 20. No shortage of bathrooms with many en suite. Good size indoor kit hen and fantastic outdoor kitchen bbq area with industrial dishwasher. Great infinity pool with views over the.valley.
This place is amazing! Loved the palm trees, swimming pool and jacuzzi - just take a look at the photos... totally recommend. Villa is spacious and bedrooms are so nice, we had a great fun and deep relax there. Would love to come back in the future :)
We can''t stress enough how much we enjoyed our stay at Villa Calonge! The place itself is stunning, the views are unbelievable. The swimming pool and jacuzzi are amazing, everything new and clean. The house and the outside areas are so big, that even we (a group of 20!) sometimes had to find each other. Everyone had their private space too, the bedrooms are big (and very unique) and there are enough bathrooms for everyone, which made the stay so easy and comfy. I also should specifically mention the kitchen space outside - it is wow- professional! You have everything you need and even more: big cooking pots and stove to cook enormous paella!!! We enjoyed BBQ a lot. There was more than enough cutlery and couverts for big groups, basically we didn''t lack anything (and that''s not an easy task for 20 people!). Outside spaces are also great, there are many and for different activities. We enjoyed so much all the places in the house, we can''t wait to come back, hopefully soon! Thanks Jackie and Hanz for such a great place and being the great hosts themselves.
There were 21 of us who stayed for half a month at Villa Calonge, we were all very happy with the house, the environment and the attitude of Jacke and Hans. We used the outdoor kitchen a lot. All up to 10 for them. Lovely stay in Colange.
Wij verbleven met 17 vrienden in de villa en hebben een fantastische reis gehad. Hartelijke ontvangst, mooi verblijf en een geweldig uitzicht. De foto's die beschikbaar zijn, geven een realistisch beeld van hoe het daar is. Het pluspunt was de gastvrijheid van Hans en Jackie. Een reis om niet te vergeten.
We were two families looking for a place to stay in the Costa Brava. We wanted somewhere with a pool, plenty of space and lovely outdoor areas for BBQ'ing and relaxing (plus great WiFi for device hungry kids!). Villa Calonge was perfect for this. The first encouraging sign was the great communication with Jackie once we had booked our stay. She answered our questions and told us what to expect in the Villa. We were all very excited. Our check in was really easy and Hans showed us all of the features of the Villa, presented the wonderful outdoor spaces, pool, hot tub and the Villa itself. Wow, what luxury, but not in a way where you felt like you couldn't live in the Villa and be at home. Villa Calonge really was a home from home with beautiful art, attention to detail and exciting themed rooms. The kitchen was great and with two large fridges, it housed all of the necessary supplies for the 15 of us! No cramming stuff into a small fridge which is sometimes a failing of lots of holiday places. We also didn't need to go out and buy utensils as the kitchen had everything you need plus a lot more. The lounge area was huge and with a large screen TV and the ability to plumb in your own source of movies and music, it was perfect for us. The themed bedrooms were a lovely touch and the beds were very comfortable. The showers were great with no water issues and the provided towels (shower & pool towels) helped keep us under our luggage allowance. The real magic of Villa Calonge is the many social spaces that you could use, plus great private spaces to get away from noisy kids. We could all come together when we wanted, but also had enough areas to not be on top of each other. The pool really is wonderful with the infinity view and provided a great focal play area but it was also was a lovely pool to get some lengths in to try and reduce the holiday waist expansion. Hans was on hand to answer questions and kept the pool and hot tub lovely and clean. Jackie provided great local knowledge of events and activities (see their facebook page!) and this lead us to some wonderful events that we would have never discovered. We were particularly pleased with a nearby food and music festival (La Santa) whe we spent two memorable evenings. We really want to thank Jackie and Hans for providing a wonderful Villa for us to experience a very memorable holiday. The only negative is that we had to leave!
