3 Bedroom (Sleeps 8) Villa in Cala En Porter

Description

Three bedroom villa suitable for a large family. It has a good sized private pool (10mx5m) with a diving board. Well located only 10-15 minutes taxi drive from the air port. It is an ideal base for families going exploring or for those seeking home comforts. This villa offers TV (limited channels}, wifi, washing machine, microwave, fridge freezer, iron and two hair dryers. A large lounge/dining area, with lounge doors opening on to a large veranda used as an outdoor eating area. There is a bookshelf in the lounge, please feel free to take home a book you would like to finish. PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW WET FEET ON THE VERANDA OR IN THE HOUSE as these areas are slippery when wet. Poolside and all other areas are matt tiles and non slip. There is a BBQ and a large poolside area suitable for sunbathing with ample sunbeds but please use plastic glasses in these areas to save on plasters, there is also a roof terrace which is very private. The villa has 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom and the third bedroom has 2 bunk beds and the lounge has a sofa bed. There are 2 shower rooms, there is a basic first kit in the tall cupboard in the larger shower room. Also a kitchen and a utility room which contains a sink and the washing machine. There are floats and inflatables for general use along with bats and balls, buckets and spades suitable for the beach in the utility room. The villa does not have air conditioning but there are fans in the cupboards and ceiling fans in two bedrooms. The beach is lovely for the children as the slope into the water is very gentle. The villa is about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach though there are a lot of steps down to it. If you walk down the road to the beach it is a little farther, There are shops and restaurants in the town and a lovely restaurant just behind the villa. Some of the supermarkets deliver free and have everything you could need. The restaurants all have wi-fi and will give out the passwords. A car is not a must but is great for looking around the island as there are some fabulous places to visit. There is a lovely zoo which allows handling of animals and it also has a water play area which children love so don't forget the towels and swimsuits. There is also a superb water park around 25 minutes away which is a great day out, I have 8 grand children who will back me up on this!!. There are boat trips around the harbour in Mahon and some interesting ruins e.g. La Mola and Taula Torralba. There are many leaflets in the villa with the information you will need. This villa is rented at the holiday makers' own risk.
