Well, there’s nothing really negative I have to say about our stay at Villa Isa in Cala’n Bosch, Menorca?!? The property was just as amazing in reality as it was described and pictured on the website details, and myself, wife, two daughters and mother-in-law enjoyed a very relaxing week at the villa. The leading up to our stay was well organised and communicated to us through Sarah who always promptly responded back to any questions we had. Then on the day of our arrival, Isa and her father Antonio gave us a very warm greeting with cold drinks and fresh fruit to enjoy after a long day of travel. We settled right in and the accommodation is spotless throughout the villa and clean and modern bathrooms, etc too. But the best bit is the magnificent outdoor pool, patio and verdant garden areas that makes you feel like you’re staying someplace very private and special. There’s also an impressive outdoor bbq/kitchen and seating area too. Overall, we loved our holiday here and would happily come back here again in the future!
We stayed in the villa with our two children (2 and 4 months) and 2 friends. The villa was beautifully clean and was perfect for our stay. There were a couple of restaurants and shops nearby with a beautiful harbour and beach a 20 minute walk away. The host was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely use this villa again.
The villa is located in a large development of other villas so there was virtually no traffic or noise around. You are literally less than 2 minutes from the sea and we could stroll down to the harbour in 20 minutes, where the majority of restaurants are. The villa is a nice size, though if you had full capacity of 8 people, the kitchen maybe a little on the small size. For our party of 3 people it wasn't an issue. The land around the villa covers three sides with pool and patio one side and garden round the other 2 sides so you can catch the sun at anytime during the day. Both bathrooms have been modernised and are lovely. Cuitadella which was the old capital is only 7km away and is a straight road so is easy to locate. On the way (10 mins from the villa by car) is a big supermarket (DISKONT) which has everything you could need. We hired a car as we figured it would cost the same as transfers to the villa (its about 55 km from airport) so we went into Cuitadella about 4 times. Lovely cobbled streets and loads of history. Plenty of places to shop and eat and generally wander around. The harbour is a lovely place to have dinner and we had a particularly nice meal in a restaurant called 'Classic' at the end of the harbour. I think there is also a Sports Bar next to this (think it might have been called Chaplins???? Was definitely playing the football). If you want a nice relaxing holiday in a safe clean environment then this is a good option
This was the 2nd time we had visited this area of menorca and the first time in this villa. From making our first enquiry with Sarah to leaving the villa everything was excellent. Sarah answered all of our queries quickly and put my mind at ease. Very helpful. As for the villa what can I say? It was amazing particularly the outdoor space. The villa is very private and is located in a quiet cul de sac. The pool area is lovely to chill out and the gardens are totally secure. Isabel and her family are lovely and will do anything to help you have a fantastic holiday. Nothing was an issue. The villa is very clean throughout and has everything you need. If I had to say one negative with the villa it would be the lack of drawer space in the 2nd and 3rd bedroom but that's just my preference. The villa is located around a 5 minute walk to the nearest bus stop where a local bus will take you to Ciutadella. You can also get the bus to the marina which is about a 30 minute walk away. There are a couple of restaurants and a few supermarkets around a 10 minute walk away. We decided to do a big shop at Lidl which is located just outside of Ciutadella. We got the bus to Ciutadella and then a taxi to lidl then a taxi back to the villa. The local supermarkets are ideal for any extras you need and are reasonably priced. You can also view the fabulous sunsets within a 5 minute walk from the villa. We had an amazing holiday and hope to return again soon.
We had a wonderful stay at this villa having just returned. felt completely safe with the electric gates for our 3 year old. lovely clean pool and outside area. no english channels on the tv but we took some dvds anyway to occupy the little one. only thing i would say is double bed could do with a mattress topper but that is purely my preferance. i would certainly book again it was wonderful, thank you to sarah and the owner who came round a few times. they own the la marina restaurant in the harbour that looked wonderful
Stayed for 2 weeks in June , Villa was everything we expected , space outside is the big plus so much room to relax, everything was clean and tidy and local management very helpful and friendly , is about a mile walk down to Marina so just a 20 min walk , Marina restaurant was one of best we visited , BBQ was used a couple of times as well as local produce is very good. only slight down for us was the change to bunk beds in the 3rd bedroom.
