Tree spotted farm between the beach and the Picos de Europa with an old farmhouse completely restored and converted into two independent houses. The location between Asturias and Cantabria, between the sea and the mountains is ideal for visiting the two provinces and combining very varied activities during your stay.

A few minutes by car from the house there is a wide range of varied beaches, from the pierced eastern coast of Asturias, where the beautiful beaches of La Franca, Buelna, Torimbia, Borizo, among others, to the large sandy beaches of the Cantabrian coast, ideal for surfing, such as San Vicente de la Barquera, the paradisiacal beach of Gerra and Oyambre.

The town of Potes, before the Picos de Europa and the Fuente De cable car, is 38 km from the house. The Sierra de Cuera, with its small villages surrounded by pastures and cows, where there is always a bench to enjoy the view while drinking a cider, is behind the property.

In Unquera, on the Cantabrian side of the estuary, there is a wide range of adventure sports: canoeing, canyoning, horseback riding... Golf lovers have courses in Llanes and in San Vicente de la Barquera (Santa Marina). The sea and the rivers facilitate the practice of water sports, such as swimming and scuba diving (school in Bustio). In addition, it is an ideal environment for walking, with hiking trails such as the one along the coast, which leads to Llanes.

The gastronomy in the area is excellent and has competitive prices.

Some interesting places to visit are San Vicente de la Barquera, Comillas, Santillana del Mar, Bárcena Mayor, Llanes, Cangas de Onís, Colombres, the Covadonga lakes and the sanctuary, the prehistoric caves of El Pindal and Tito Bustillo, the route of lndianos in Ribadedeva (council where the house is located), Cueva del Soplao.

Or stay resting in a hammock in the garden or in the heat of the fireplace in the house.

The peculiarity of the accommodation lies in the isolation that its country and rural nature gives it, combined with its location in one of the most important communications hubs on the Cantabrian coast.

Peculiar accommodation with 2 bedrooms and capacity for 6 people as it has 2 beds in the attic, a unit of the house equipped with carpet that serves as a bedroom, living room, games room, study, etc.

Fireplace and central heating. Barbecue, sun loungers and garden furniture.

Maravillosa experiencia

By Alberto José López Bermúdez on 12-Aug-2024

Relaxing holiday and good value for money

Lovely farmhouse in a rural setting, in close proximity to the beaches and the Picos. Ana was really friendly and accommodating especially as we were late arriving on day 1. Good value for money too.

We have visited this area on many occasions going self catering, we always spend time researching the area and accommodation, But nothing prepared ourselves for for the first site of the house and surroundings which is hard to beat anywhere we have stayed in the past. Most relaxed ,time ,the house is amazing and full of history and love , Anna the owner is so helpful and when we had a bit of emergency was priceless, beaches in this area are some of the best in Spain. Would defiantly stay here again when next in the area, thanks Anna for making our stay enjoyable.
