Nice apartment, well equipped and with very good beds. The terrace is exactly as on the photo''s, a very nice view, with sunloungers and enough room to eat outside. We were not lucky with the weather, so couldn''t enjoy this, 4 days rain in a 5 days stay! (according to the taxidriver it didn''t rain in the last 3 years!!) On the only dry and sunny day we had a nice trip to Mijas. Up the mountain by bus, lunch there and walking back to the coast along quiet countryroads. Sarah is a wonderful host. She made arrangements for a taxi to and from the airport, answers via app or mail very quick when there are any questions and gives a lot of information about the surroundings. Response from Sarah
Really enjoyed our stay at Christabel. All arrangements via Sarah were spot on. The information provided by Sarah was spot on regards logistics, Uber (although costs slightly higher than suggested) Very clean apartment with everything possible utensil and kit you need inc. new kitchen and up to date smart t.v.
Perfect home from home, it''s not short of anything you need for a lovely peaceful relaxing holiday even down to the shopping trolley to take to the supermarket at the top of the hill. The bed is huge and very comfortable. Glasses for every type of drink . We particularly enjoyed eating our breakfast on the terrace listening to the birds chirping away . The apartment is kind of in the middle on the end of Benalmadena and the start of Fuengerole and close to the train station at Carvajal which takes you all the way to Malaga via several other stops . The hill is a bit of a challenge if you''re not young lol but we just used the white Taxis . Can''t fault the apartment or Sarah''s communication.
We were looking for a quiet , relaxing , get away from it all break and that is exactly what we got ! The apartment is in a lovely hillside location on a private estate which is beautifully maintained . The apartment has obviously recently been fully refurbished and is exceptionally clean . The hosts Sarah and Gary seem to have thought of everything you need for a self catering holiday and also provided us with a range of information prior to our arrival regarding the apartment . the area , and recommended restaurants ( some of which give you a discount on your bill ! ) . There is a residents only pool 5 mins from the apartment set in a lovely secure garden area . The seafront and its restaurants / bars are a leisurely 20 min walk or a taxi will cost 5 euros . We made good use of the local buses and trains to visit all the local resorts and attractions ( they''re reliable and cheap ) . Would highly recommend this apartment and will definitely stay again .
Such a peaceful location to enjoy long lie-ins - no car noises on any side of the property, and no people walking past the door. Instead, birdsong, sunshine and privacy. And a nice view of the coast and sea! Giant double bed was a bonus - 6’ 6” in both directions! Casa Christabel is a really well prepared 1-bed apartment+ lounge/diner with everything we needed. It’s clear the owners care a great deal about giving a great customer experience, plus their communications were clear and always so helpful. Stayed next door in Casa Annabel in 2017, and that was lovely too of course (a studio apartment with King size bed). We’d stay again in either apartment! Read less
