We stayed in Villas Jardim do Lobo in July 2024 for a week-long 3 generation family trip with 10 people from Australia, Europe and the US, celebrating a 50th anniversary, and 80th, 70th, 40th and 1st birthdays. It was the perfect location for our special, once in a lifetime trip, with everything we needed. It is well located near many great sightseeing activities, beaches, and restaurants and bars. We managed to golf, spend days at 3 different beaches, visit the Loule markets, sea kayak through the coastal caves, and sample some of the best food we've had at the local seafood and traditional portuguese restaurants - we didn't have a car and managed all this with cheap, readily available Ubers. The villas are clean, giant and well laid out - we had more than enough space to spread out and settle in. Families should be aware that it is very well stocked for kids and babies, with high chairs, lots of baby cots, plenty of unbreakable plastic kids dinner bowls, throws to put over sofas to avoid staining them, etc - it removes a lot of the stress of traveling with small kids. Best of all is the huge saltwater pool, which is even better than it looks in the pictures. If you come during a hot spell, as we did, it is invaluable to be able to regularly take a dip and cool down (especially for the kids). When looking at accommodation options, we originally didn't think we'd need a pool because we thought we'd always be out and about and at the beach, but we spent most of our time in it or around it every morning and evening - the pool house is perfect for pre-dinner drinks in the shade while the kids keep swimming, and there is even a bar with fridge/freezer in the pool house! We hope to come back again someday.
A huge beautiful pool and pool house, tennis court and table tennis. Kitchens well equipped with plenty of fridges ! Its a perfect stay for 3 generations with masses of space . TV covered all our sporting needs with the Euros and Wimbledon!!
We had a wonderful time at the two villas. Really no need to leave other than for food or groceries, both very close. We walked to all of our meals, lots of choices within a 5-20 min walk. Pool and pool house were outstanding. Great communication with the host.
The place was ideal for our group. 8 Adults 45 to 79 and 8 kids, 8 to 17. Clean, well equipped, good bedrooms and baths. Good beds. Pool was exceptionally fine: 9 x 15meters. Clean and well kept. Poolhouse was new,with fridge, freezer and dishwasher(!) Comfortable outdoor furniture.Youngest girl, soon 9, cried the last night because we had to leave. Air conditioning during the night good because of heatwave. Tennis court was very popular. Rackets provided. We highly recommend this place for big family groups like ours.
Two beautiful fully equipped villas with a very large green garden, a wonderful pool, own tennis court, shady trees, a bbq and boules pitch. The villas clearly had everything families can wish for including baby cots, baby chairs, outdoor children''s toys, golf clubs, tennis rackets, washing machines etc etc etc. It provided everything that was promised in the advertisment and even more! Certainly a place we would go back to.
18 of us stayed at the villas. The property was perfect for our party. The swimming pool was exceptional and the villas were spacious and well equipped. We had a great holiday! 08/28/2019 at 9:00 PM
