What a fabulous two week stay we have had at this amazing villa in June 2024. The owners John and Samantha have thought of everything to make their holiday home an little piece of heaven in the beautiful area of Almancil. Throughout the booking process John was very informative and it was reassuring to be able to speak to him via telephone about the Villa and the area. He was full of local knowledge and recommendations for places to visit and restaurants. The Villa was immaculate inside and out. The photos do not justify just how amazing this Villa is. I would highly recommend staying at this outstanding holiday villa. So much so that we have already booked to stay for three weeks in 2025. To celebrate our daughters 40th, we stayed with our children and grandchildren at this beautiful, immaculate and well equipped villa. Fabulous location with everything on your doorstep for all ages. We made full use of the villa by day and by night eating in some nights and out others. With so many local restaurants within walking distance. John the owner could not do enough for us, made the booking easy and answered all our questions we had. The grandchildren loved it, playing pool and jumping in the pool ! With cots and high chairs the toddlers were all catered for also. Home for a rest but cannot wait to come back next year to make even more family memories.
As a family of 9 with two young children and a teenager finding a Villa to suit us all is a challenge. Quinta D'Eguas surpassed our expectations. So well equipped and comfortable. We wished we could have stayed longer. Days spent around the pool and enjoying the garden were just what we needed. John and Samantha were so helpful from booking until after our stay. I would highly recommend.
We are a family of 6 adults and 4 children. The villa was perfect for us with everything we needed. This was our second visit to the villa having stayed previously in 2022. We would certainly recommend Quinta D'Eguas and we will possibly visit again next year. Les Hughes
As an extended family party of 9 aged 12-82 we always struggle to find holiday properties that cater for teenagers, seniors and frazzled parents but this one exceeded all our expectations. From the outset John the owner was helpful, informative and always there to answer any questions we had (however small!) and during our stay was on hand via text if we had anything we wanted to ask. From the sumptuous bed linen and fluffy towels to exceptionally high standard of cleanliness and high spec facilities there was nothing I could fault about this villa. the location was quiet, away from the hustle and bustle but just a taxi ride away from the busy Vilamoura and Quarteira nightlife and cafes/restaurants. The bedrooms were spacious and well equipped with options for conversion to twin beds which helped enormously given the varying ages and requirements of our party. Starting the morning with a Krupps coffee or hot chocolate was a real luxury, sat on one of the fabulously comfy loungers or sheltering from the early sun in one of the many cosy nooks and crannies where you could always find shade and a moments' peace. The kids had a whale of a time with the pool/table tennis table and the big, clean pool plus we had been provided with numerous inflatables which were well used during our stay! The thoughtful welcome back was gratefully received once we arrived as we landed up travel weary in the early hours and the fresh water and ice in the giant fridge was fantastic in the heat. The cleaners and gardeners arrived during our stay but were completely unobtrusive and quietly went about maintaining the stunning garden and providing fresh linen. John's suggestion of using Uber's rather than forking out for expensive hire cars was brilliant and saved us a lot of money. We did only stay local which helped; for travel further afield I would advise you hire a car but there are local rental places so you don't necessarily need to pick up at the airport - we preferred a private transfer as they found the villa quickly and easily. The handbook at the house was very useful and detailed with lists of places and areas to visit. We ate out most nights at Vilamoura, Loule and Quarteira beach front (the latter being just as nice food-wise and much less expensive than Vilamoura) plus we had an adrenaline filled day at Aquashow park down the road which was very costly and busy with long queues but if you spend the day there you get your money's worth. Recommend the water sport ticket office on the Quarteira sea front - incredibly helpful English family that run it and they gave us discounts on a boat trip to the Benagil caves and Parasailing. All in all a fabulous stay - we wanted for nothing at the villa and it was so safe given the electriic shutters and gated entrance - it felt like we were the only people that had stayed there as it was so well maintained, clean and high spec. We are already planning our next trip!
We stayed at this gorgeous villa in July 2022. There were 10 of us, 4 adults and 6 children. It was the perfect villa for such a large group and we never felt on top of each other. The villa is immaculate, and has everything you would need. The pool is massive, and the loungers are so comfy. The garden and games area were great for the kids. The villa is about 10 mins drive from some beautiful beaches and restaurants. We would not hesitate to recommend this villa to anyone and would love to come back another year!
