We really enjoyed our visit here. During a heatwave, the air con and pools were most welcome for cooling down. The property is traditional with beautiful gardens to relax in. The nearby village has some lovely restaurants and you are conveniently located for waterparks and beaches.
The property and the location were great, nice house and garden with pool close to the coast but not in a busy area. Unfortunately the agent who represents the owners was extremely rude and dismissive bordering on offensive. When we arrived the owners were still cleaning and we had to wait about an hour. The owners left dirty pots and pans in the oven that we had to clean, there was also almost no cutlery in the kitchen so we had to buy some to get by. Be aware there are neighbours coming in and out of the property almost daily feeding cats which was ok but not ideal as the house wasn't really private. This wasnt mentioned until we arrived. When we departed the owners expected the entire house to have been swept and mopped. This is contrary to what the voucher terms said and I quote 'leave house in tidy condition for cleaners'. There are no cleaners only the owners, we offered to stay and do the sweeping but they became agitated and kicked us out. They charged us 40 Euros to do the cleaning so beware that they will try and rip you off at the end. The owners daughter helped us out with some translations and she was very kind to us. Overall the house was a great place to stay but unfortunately the extremely rude agent and the behaviour of the owners at the end soured the stay. Im giving it a poor rating because of the above behaviour not the experience of the property. You need to be aware of these issues and behaviours if you intend to rent this house.
