Description

Located in an area with a stunning coastline and fabulous beaches on the west side of Albufeira, Casa Francisco is an ideal location to spend a holiday with family and friends. It is a really pretty villa, homely and inviting, with spacious accommodation and a lovely outside area.

All 3 bedrooms have air conditioning. The 2 ground floor bedrooms open out to the garden and the 1st floor main bedroom opens out to a terrace with a view over the garden and towards the sea.

There is an open plan living space with a sliding patio door leading to the pool and terrace. The circular dining area with a beautiful feature cupola ceiling is stepped up from the living area with a door through to the separate fully equipped kitchen.

The two bedrooms on the ground floor share a large family bathroom.

The 1st floor houses the main bedroom with ensuite bathroom, as well as a separate sitting area outside the bedroom where there is a sofa bed (sleeping 2 children). This sitting area has its own small shaded terrace.

The outside area is perfect for enjoying the beautiful Algarvean climate, with a kidney shaped pool (approximately 8m x 4m) offering pool heating at an optional extra cost. The pool is surrounded by a paved sun lounging area and garden.

The outside dining area is a short step from the kitchen door and next to the charcoal barbecue - making life easy for outside catering. For the more energetic there is a table tennis table with bats and balls provided. On the very top of the house there is a small roof top terrace with views to the sea.

Location:
Casa Francisco is located close to some amazing sandy beaches and coves – you are spoilt for choice. The nearest beaches to the villa are Castelo and Evaristo, about 10 minutes on foot. Others within comfortable walking distance include Lourenço, Galé and Coelha. A few minutes by car (or even a walk) are São Rafael and Arrifes in one direction and Salgados in the other. All have beach bars and restaurants and the larger ones have a selection of water sports to choose from. At Galé there is also a surf school.

There are a number of excellent restaurants between a 2 and 15 minute walk. There are more further on. For every day needs there is a mini market a few minutes’ walk away and a supermarket where you can buy most things and includes a butcher, deli counter and bakery, about a 15 minute walk. There are many more within a short drive.

The area is great for walking with beautiful cliff top walks with access to some hidden coves, long beach walks, boardwalks along the coast and then through the Salgados lagoon, teeming with birdlife and a big attraction for bird watchers. Between November and March Flamingos can be seen.

If you like a pamper, then there are a selection of spas in the area including Balaia Atlantico and São Rafael Suites.

There are many sporting activities which can be enjoyed nearby including horse riding at Quinta da Saudade, tennis at Salgados, golf at Salgados, walking, cycling water sports and much more.

Water Parks are within easy reach – Zoomarine and AquaLand only about 15 minutes by car. AquaShow and Slide and Splash are both about 30 minutes.

Less than 5 minutes by car is Albufeira Marina, which offers a relaxing place to take a stroll, eat or drink day or evening. This is also the place to pick up one of the many water borne excursions / sports on offer such as dolphin watching, sailing trips, scuba diving, fishing trips and much more. There is also a small bowling alley and indoor electric karting.

The Old Town of Albufeira is only 5 minutes by car. Here there are an abundance of restaurants, cafes and bars, a beautiful beach stretching as far as the eye can see, a street tourist market and endless shops. There is quite often street entertainment, particularly in the summer months.
If you want to be somewhere offering relative peace and quiet, near to beaches and restaurants but also to be within easy reach of Albufeira for something more lively when the mood takes you, then Casa Francisco is the ideal place.

Arrival / Departure
Access to the villa on your day of arrival is normally 4.00 pm and on your day of departure you are asked to depart by 10.00 am.

Maid Service:
Maid service is every 7 days. For 10 day bookings this is provided half way through your holiday. Towels and Linen are provided and are changed once a week. If you would like a more frequent maid service then this can be provided at a small additional cost. Beach towels are also provided.

Booking Conditions
On booking we ask for a 30% non-refundable deposit.
The balance is payable 6 weeks prior to arrival.
A refundable damage deposit of £500 is also payable 2 days prior to arrival. This will be refunded within 7 days of the end of your holiday providing no damage or breakages occur.

Deposit non-refundable
Once the balance has been paid i.e. 6 weeks prior to arrival, if cancelled between 4 and 6 weeks prior to arrival 50% refund of the balance will be given
