We have stayed in this fabulous apartments for the last 6 years. It is a large apartment spread over two floors with two large balconies. Sunshine all day and beautiful sunsets in the evening. The sea/town views from both balconies is amazing. The apartment is very well equipped for self catering but there are many restaurants nearby to choose from in the old town. Overall, a fantastic apartment in a perfect location. I cannot finish without mentioning Philippa who has always been excellent and helpful from the initial booking to our departure, each and every time we book.
From the time of booking right up until our holiday, Phillippa's communication was excellent. The apartment is extremely spacious with wonderful views was spotlessly clean. A 10 minute stroll to the old town which we didn't find a problem either there or back. We initially had a problem with door locks and air con but after a very quick visit from maintainence, the issue was down to us not closing the doors properly️. Our only disappointment (which wasn't an issue with the apartment) was that old town Albufeira has gotten very rowdy with lots of hen and stag parties. Not the quiet relaxed location I remember from a number of years back. The music could be heard from the apartment. This didn't stop us from having a great week away and would happily recommend to others.
We had a lovely stay in the apartment. Location is great and the views from the balcony are just amazing. Spent a lot of time on the balcony sat in the sun, enjoying the view. Great facilities, pool is nice and wifi was excellent too which you need with kids!
From the first contact when booking the apartment, the owner Philippa was very accommodating and helpful in arranging a transfer from the airport to the apartment. However, since we had a rental car this was not necessary for us. It was a large apartment over two floors with 2 balconies and stunning views over Albufeira. There was a kitchen with everything we needed except a dishwasher, but it was also no problem to clean the dishes by hand. It is only a few hundred meters away to the beach and Albufeira town where you can party all night or have a few drinks and something to eat. Various beaches and destinations in the Algarve were easily accessible centrally from Albufeira. Also Lisbon can be explored here quite as a day trip. All in all, it was a very nice, stress-free and well-organized vacation in Albufeira.
From the 1st email enquiry and right through to the end of our holiday communications with Philippa was excellent! Transfers to and from the airport was well organised and we manged to get into the apartment early which was a bonus! Beautiful apartment, spotless clean and with more than enough room for the 4 adults and 2 kids in our party. Many a night was spent enjoying the great views from the balcony and the old town bars and restaurants were only a ten minute walk away although the walk back up the hill didn't seem to get any easier . The apartment was well equipped and beds were comfy. The only thing I would have liked was bigger drawers in the main bedroom to store clothes as the storage provided filled up quickly but we manged OK. Fantastic 2 week stay and would not hesitate to book in the future.
