We were a party of 7, from grand parents to grand children & everyone had a great time, we would return in a heartbeat! And hopefully we will soon. The property is amazing, bathrooms everywhere, very spacious bedrooms, laods of closet space with hangers, Robes ect.. with towels and pool towels all provided. The air conditioning was very welcome, every one in our group had a little nook to call their own when a bit of R&R was needed. There is so so much to this Villa that you don't expect, from big balconies to basement dancefloors, to a lovely shaded bbq space & the house has absolutely everything you would need.. from towels/blankets, cleaning supplies/sun creams, even a well stocked medical kit. The cleaner Gloria, is a lovely friendly Lady who is absolutely brilliant. Also the owners are a true Lady and Gentleman, very helpful and friendly with any communication we've had. I would highly highly recommend this beautiful home to any group, because it has something for everyone.... + LOADS of fridge freezer space!! Lovely little local bar just out & round the corner.. cheap beers & fantastic traditional food. Aldi just a short stroll from here too and very easy to walk to the top of the new town strip.
Where to start …. The Villa was spotless and huge. Very well equipped for all our needs. Pool was an absolute winner and kept the family entertained into the evening. The basement facilities, pool table, bar, tennis table and not to forget the dance floor provided a great family space. Bathrooms , bedrooms and verandas all added to the luxury feel. Lots of space for our party of 10 with multiple lounges and plenty of separate quiet spaces to be found if wanted. The location couldn’t be better, we walked down to Aldi and to the beach shops and restaurants, tut tut ride back. Taxi to nearby old town just a few euros each way was an absolute gem. So much to see and do in surrounding areas, didn’t have the time to fit it all in. We ordered from the local Thai one evening and had it delivered to the Villa, and had groceries delivered too, no need for car hire. We had the best time and the only problem was having to leave to go home, we really didn’t want to ! could have stayed for much longer and next time we will. Highly recommended and thanks to Norah for such great communications throughout.
We was a party of 8 people , 3 adults , 5 children ( 3x17yrs , 1x13yrs , 1x11yrs ) The size of the Villa was ideal .. 3 older lads stayed in the basement bedrooms which where all air conditioned. Adults and younger children upstairs in the 3 spacious bedrooms. Villa was spotless in all departments, rooms , living areas , kitchen , games rooms , bathrooms. The basement area consisted of a pool / snooker table , and table tennis .. which all the kids and adults enjoyed. All the bedrooms had plenty of space , beds were lovely and comfy too. Kitchen was clean and had everything that was needed to cook. Pool area was great , sun on the pool from early morning all way through to evening. Pool was very clean and was maintained whilst we was there. Plenty of sun loungers and chairs etc around pool area. There was two living room areas , the smaller room had tv with tv box that had every channel you could think of from sky movies , sky sports .. the lot .. which was good for us as we are F1 and Rugby league fans , so kids where very happy. The Villa overall was exceptional, it was more than we could have asked for. The location was ideal , it was a 10 min walk to the Aldi and 15 mins walk to the busy strip area ( far enough to not to cause any noise or disturbance issues at all) and 15 mins down to a quieter area with lots of restaurants. Would 100% return to this villa as ideal location. All the way through from 1st booking the villa.. the owners Norah and John were fantastic , they communicated all info that was needed , they arranged the airport transfers that were spot on with no issues at all. All I can say is we had a great family holiday , greta Villa , felt safe and owners were fantastic.!!!!
This was our first visit to Portugal - 6 adults, this villa is massive! It is great for a large group. We used the upstairs bedrooms rooms which were clean and spacious each with access to a wrap around balcony with seating. Downstairs on the ground floor is a well equipped kitchen and spacious sitting room along with everything you will need games, books, pool towels, safe, washing machine etc the list goes on and on. Outside is a lovely pool area with plenty of sun loungers, outside table chairs and inflatables. The basement is another massive space with 2 further bedrooms and a bathroom which we didn’t need to use, there is also a pool table, table tennis and bar area, it does get hot downstairs but it was a fun area to use for some time out of the sun. The communication with the owners was fantastic from start to finish, they arranged our transport to and from the airport which was so convenient and reasonably priced. Thank you so much we enjoyed our holiday very much and found the villa a great base to explore the Algarve and beyond.
As a family the villa had everything and more Not far from shops the strip and beach Will definitely be back and will be recommending the villa to family and friends. Also the owner Norah was fantastic x
We hadn't expected the gardens of the Casa Bouganvillea to be in bloom and look as good as on the photos – but the gardens were absolutely beautiful and in full flower. Everything else was also as good as in the photos, if not better. There was always something to entertain all five children of varying ages (and their parents). We had three generations on our visit and there was never a dull moment with loads of games and the equipment in the basement. The house is cleaned and managed on a very regular basis and Norah was always very helpful and quick to answer any queries on the phone if needed. The pool was in full sunlight most of the day with loads of sunbeds and chairs, and areas of shade to hide away in when it got too hot. The large Aldi supermarket was in easy walking distance to get supplies when needed, and Ubers and home delivery for meals was quickly available in the area. We had a lovely week!
