Hi Caroline Just a brief line to say we had a fabulous time in the Algarve. Villa Mila is a really wonderful, homely destination and it was a pleasure to meet Victor and Maria, an elderly (79 and 78) husband and wife team who tend to the wonderful garden. They grow papaya, olives, pomegranates and cumquats as well as varied plants and bushes. Guests can pick the fruit. The pool is the cleanest we have experienced in a Villa. Thanks for all your help, we will probably book again for the same time next year in the next few days although easyJet hasn’t published its Summer 2024 programme yet.
Vacances entre copines magique . La maison était très propre avec des personnes qui s'occupent de l'entretien qui sont supers. La piscine était très grande. La maison est placé à 10 minutes à pied de la plage et à 10 minutes en taxi du centre d'albufeira. Nous avons adoré cette maison et la destination . A refaire ! Seul petit point négatif: les lits sont un peu dure .

We stayed at Villa Mila for 10 nights, there was 7 adults and 3 children. There was plenty of space for everyone inside and out. The Villa was absolutely lovely. This was our first time in a villa and we wasn't disappointed. Victor and his wife, the owners were brilliant! Victor was in everyday cleaning the pool and his wife came every few days to water the plants and grass. She also came half way through and did a full clean, changed the beds and towels etc. The area itself is nice, a few restaurants and bars, if you want it more lively then you have to get a taxi into albufeira. We found Captains bar which the kids loved! You just have to turn left out the villa and cut through oceana hotel and its at the bottom of the steps. There's Quiz nights, karaoke nights and is generally good fun! The only criticism I have about the villa is that the mattress could do with a change in the four poster bedroom-it is rock hard and we couldn't get connected to the WiFi. Other than that 5/5, we would definitely book again. Thank you to Ocean Villas for our booking and to Victor and his wife for looking after us!
