When we booked this villa we were looking for a spacious property with great views, a heated pool, lovely outdoor space and in close proximity to bars, restaurants and the beach. We thought we’d have to compromise on something but this villa ticked all those boxes, and more. This property really is home from home. It is a generous size with a comfortable, open plan living space and very comfortable beds. The property is well appointed and spotlessly clean, with plenty of kitchen equipment which made cooking very easy on the days we chose not to eat out. The living room was very comfortable and there was always plenty of hot water for the bathrooms. The outside space is absolutely gorgeous with lovely views of the sea and surrounding hills. I can recommend relaxing on the terrace with a glass (or two) of bubbly watching the sun go down! The pool is just the right size and we were glad of the pool heating in October. Location wise, the marina and old town are both a short walk away and both have lovely bars and restaurants. We also hopped in the car one morning to visit a local market about 30 minutes away, which was fun. The hosts, Jackie & Tony were great from start to finish and always on the end of the phone if we had any questions. We greatly appreciated the welcome pack of supplies and put it all to good use during the week. We hope to return one day. Thank you for a fabulous holiday!
My sister and I needed a stress free break away. We needed a comfortable, private holiday for relaxation, sunshine and every comfort and close to amenities so that no car hire was needed. Our transfers were pre arranged by Jackie and went very smoothly. Jackie was absolutely brilliant keeping in touch with us before arrival and gave us a thorough walk through everything at the villa on arrival. She even gave us a lift to the Supermarket and back again. This was very much appreciated. Everything you could possibly need is at the villa including shampoos, soaps, dishwasher tablets etc. We had a brilliant week. It couldn’t have been better. It was a bit of a shock arriving back home to the cold 7 degrees after a week of temperatures around 25 degrees! Fabulous villa holiday. Thank you!
Loved our week in this villa, such a nice and relaxing place. Highlights include the sunset from the outside sofa, the outdoor kitchen and bbq area, the pool and everything else.
We (2 adults & 3 teenagers) had an amazing stay at this excellent villa, the location was perfect - quiet but in walking distance to the beach, old town and a local supermarket. The accommodation and facilities were great, the pool and outdoor kitchen/BBQ area were fantastic. Jackie was very helpful and met us at the villa after our delayed our arrival, the welcome pack was very well received. Would definitely recommend.
The villa has a great layout with the three bedrooms and living area around the pool.Outside by the pool is a great communal space, also lots of secluded space around the villa . Great communication with Jackie before our visit, Jackie and Tony warmly greeted us at the villa with a quick tour and any information we needed. There was a lovely supply of provisions left for us, this was varied and so appreciated. It was so good it allowed us to settle in for our first day without having to go food shopping. The villa is within walking distance to the Marina, Old town and the beach. It is up hill on way back but taxi such good value, we had taxi back after each outing. Small supermarket within walking distance with most things you would need , prices were aimed at tourists. As taxi cheap would be worth a visit to Aldi and do a bigger shop. If you want a relaxing holiday this villa is perfect. Great pool, fantastic views, peaceful location . The Portuguese were all so friendly and welcoming.
Amazing place and hospitality out of this world. Easy walk to places but quiet neighborhood also. Would return in a heartbeat!
