Villa Waves in Perama is a lovely villa, it is on many different levels, this keeps you fit! We loved the different views from the different terraces, the property was perfectly big enough for just myself and my husband. You can sit there every day watching the planes coming in to land and take off which seems like touching distance, it was never annoying, we would have been bored if we were not plane watching! The villa has a huge television, it is a bit of a funny set up but just ask the owner Hugh about it, he will take you through everything. There is no pool because you have the sea at your feet, there is an electric ladder down to the small beach and sea, it is not for anyone with any physical disabilities, the ladder is steep. Once down it is lovely, always lots of fish to watch, you can sit or just lay in the sea if you cannot swim. It is not totally private, so do not assume you wont get people coming down the steps just along from the villa, you will! I met a few who made me jump, but your in Greece, they share and this is the way it is over there. We did not get to use the motor boat as it had some issues, Hugh did try, but it never happened which was a shame. There was a big storm, amazing to watch although it did some damage and nearly wrecked the boat. The villa is on a main road, this may be a problem for some, we are used to walking everywhere is Corfu, it is in walking distance of a few shops, thy are easily missed though, Hugh does offer to take you to a big supermarket if you want, we just wanted to get out and explore so it was not a huge priority. Tavernas, hmm not so great, mainly only one we went to, best to go in to Benitse's, a bus ride away, and some times the buses get quite full. Always take a torch with you if not driving and keep on when you hear a car coming so they know your on the side of the road. It was a beautiful location, not so great on amenities, Hugh is great and always available, will bring you water and things if you want. Doubt we will go to this one again mainly because of the access to beach and husbands arthritis, otherwise it is a lovely to stay in maybe a microwave, air fryer and sandwich toaster could come in handy!! Just an idea.
We stubbled upon this villa while searching for a break away with our friends , the both of us found this independently and couldn't believe it was free to book. Staying there is even better than the pictures on the website. With the sun facing you in the morning the view from the balcony is absolutely stunning. Having your own steps that you drop down to the sea to let you swim and snorkel every morning makes you feel very privileged. The villa is very clean, comfortable and tastefully presented. Hugh and Daniella where very welcoming and helpful with arrangements and liaised with the car hire people for us. We had a lovely time. Thankyou!

The villa is lovely and in a fabulous position directly next to the sea. The villa is very comfortable, well appointed and equipped. The position is wonderful and has direct sea access with its own jetty and includes paddle boards and kayak's. Hugh and Daniela are great hosts with lots of recommendations for places to visit and eat. We would not hesitate to recommend this villa.

We loved staying right on the waters edge, waking up to stunning sunrises, fresh air and endless views. Swimming every day, paddleboarding, hot tub, all very luxurious. Hugh & Daniella were excellent hosts, everything you could hope for, recommendations things to do, where to eat, had all the answers for any questions. A very relaxing stay. There are quite a few steps, needs considering for older or very young guests.
