Description
Duplex penthouse (top 2 floors of building), 1075 square foot (100 square metre) self catering apartment with breath-taking mountain and lake views. Parking for one car in basement. Entrance accessed by lift but stairs inside.Located just a very short walk from the railway station, this duplex penthouse apartment is a 5 minute walk from the CityXpress lift. There is a dedicated heated boot rack for 5 pairs of boots in the basement locker.
The prices quoted are per week and include cleaning, bedlinen, utilities and tourist tax.
SECURITY DEPOSIT - A security deposit of €500 is payable by bank transfer 3 weeks prior to arrival and is refunded by the same method assuming everything is fine at the end of your stay. It can be paid by Revolut if you prefer.
GUEST REGISTRATION DETAILS for Tourist Tax (included in the price) - these will be requested at the same time as the security deposit.
About Zell am See - Within the shadow of the beautiful Hohe Tauern National Park, Zell am See is a buzzy, atmospheric winter and summer resort with sensational views, nearby glacier skiing and scenic lake, and, with its classic 19th-century architecture and mountain backdrop, the area is very much an all year round favourite. From the town centre it’s easy to grab the CityXpress gondola up the 2000m Schmittenhöhe mountain, where there are wide, scenic pistes and tree-lined runs offering variety for skiers and plenty of mountain huts. During the summer, walkers can enjoy a range of easy to challenging trails. Thanks to its friendly slopes, a traffic-free centre and plenty of non-ski activities, Zell am See is a great choice for families and intermediate skiers. The car-free town centre has a picture-postcard feel about it, with quaint cafés and restaurants alive with both locals and tourists. During the height of winter the lake often freezes over, enabling one to walk from one side to the other. Zell am See is part of the Europa Sport Region which includes the neighbouring glacier resort of Kaprun, which is easily accessible by local ski bus. The Zell area has 59 runs with 136 kms of piste.. Salzburg is easily reached either by train direct from Zell am See or by car in 75 minutes. A must for those with a car is the scenic and thrilling drive up the Grossglockner High Alpine Road.

By Tiina on 23-Mar-2024This is our second time in this apartment: I would say ”location, location, location”! Super nice view. Short walk to everywhere: ski lifts, ski rent places, restaurants, shops, train station, taxi station - everything is very near but still there is no noises. You sleep downstairs and on the same time the others can watch the tv or make food upstairs. Two bathrooms and toilets! Michael was very helpful too and he answered very quick, it was pleasure to deal with him. We had a small problem with washing machine and already next day the problem was history! We’ll be back to this apartment some day, I’ll promise.

Modern clean apartment that I would recommend to anyone going to Zell am See
By Michael on 15-Jan-2024The size for our group of 7 was more than adequate, the location for ski lift, bars, restaurants, supermarket etc was perfect, all within 3 minutes walk. The views from the wraparound balcony were awesome, the slopes on one side and the lake on another side. The apartment was very well stocked with all appliances required for a comfortable stay. The owner kept us well informed in advance with regards to amenities in the area, how to gain access, information on airport transfers etc.
