Description

Chalet Soleil Riant is a very spacious 5 bedroomed chalet spread over three floors and situated in a quiet area. The large south facing terrace is ideal for spring and summer barbecues. The traditional wooden construction of the chalet provides a typical alpine feel. There are two bathrooms with showers and one shower room. There are two separate toilets

Cleaning at the end of your stay is included in rental price.

The chalet is well suited for access to the ski slopes and the centre of the village. It has its own double garage which is ideal for storing mountain bikes and sporting equipment in the summer. It takes 3 minutes to walk to the swimming pool, spa, sports centre, tennis courts, archery and high ropes course and a 10 minute walk to village centre. Mountain biking, climbing, horse riding, walking, paragliding, windsurfing, swimming (in mountain lakes), fishing and many other activities are also possible in the area. Canoeing and golf can be reached with a short drive! Sailing is possible on Lake Annecy or Lake Geneva. Les Carroz has built a number of downhill mountain biking courses to suit all abilities.

It is a 10 minute walk into the village which has a good choice of restaurants, cafes, bars, a cinema, shops and one small but very well stocked supermarket and a larger one is a 15 minute walk away at Le Lays. The bus stop for the navette (ski bus) is only 50 m from the chalet and takes 10 minutes to drive to the telecabine. The ski area is constantly being improved with new lifts and pistes and improvements to some of the older pistes to prevent traffic at peak times. Les Carroz is a busy attractive village with many different restaurants. There is plenty to keep one occupied in both winter and summer.

Genial chalet top

Nous avons passé un super séjour : Le chalet est parfait. Il dispose de tout le confort nécessaire nous avons eu besoin de rien de plus. La grande salle a manger permet de faire de grand repas en famille. les chambres sont grandes et confortables. La navette est a 2 min a pied et nous emmène au bord des pistes en 15 min. Il y a de l espace pour les enfants pour jouer devant le chalet. Vraiment je recommande ce logement il est parfait pour des groupes ou familles : nous repartons sans hésiter l'année prochaine ! A lovely traditional style chalet

We cannot fault this chalet, a beautiful traditional design on the outside and all wood interior -perfect for our group of ten. You enter the property via the garage with access to the boot room and then up one flight of stairs to a spacious and very comfortable living and dining area with kitchen. Up one more flight of stairs to 4 of the bedrooms. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived and a nice touch was that the linen was delivered to the chalet. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the bus stop and a short ride to the town centre and on to the gondola. The swimming pool and spa is a short walk away and was well used! Julia was an excellent host both in the booking process and during our stay. Our deposit was promptly returned which we appreciated. We hope to stay again and we will certainly recommend to friends.

Super cosy chalet

A super chalet for our 2 families staying together over Christmas. The whole booking process with Julia was fantastic to deal with,very efficient and had lots of ideas and tips regarding our stay. The chalet was very clean and tidy upon arrival ,well appointed,and well placed for all amenities. We really love Les Carroz and have been going there for the last 8 years, would we stay there again ? Absolutely, thank you.
