Description

Thoughtfully designed by Karen C/5 the villa is totally accommodating for six people including two wheelchair users in comfort.

The master bedroom has pressure relieving mattress. There are two twin bedrooms and one double there is a 1 minute inflate /deflate portable bed in case 6 single people wish to travel. There are two bathrooms both of which have a wheel in shower (1 also has a rain shower) and handrails where necessary. There is Sky TV, DVD hi-fi everything you would expect in your home away from home. There are 2 electrically operated beds, and ceiling track hoist system, there are fans available in every room and also zircon as standard.
The van with wheelchair lift as shown above can be included with the villa with prior notice. The van can accommodate 99% of wheelchairs ( I say 99 but have never had any problems) and has a track on the floor for fixing wheelchairs. The van is a manual not an automatic.

Location
The villa is situated 12km from Torrevieja twenty minutes from the centre and beaches, which are all totally accessible with man made lagoons which are all ramped. The promenade stretches for miles and it is nice easy push for wheelchairs. Also 5 minutes away and totally accessible are plenty of shops etc. There is also a fresh water lagoon, which is favourite with bird watchers.

Quesada, which is next door to Atalaya Park, has shops, Banks, Bars Restaurants, Aqua Park, petrol station, doctor’s surgery and a dentist. Everything you could ever need!

About an hours drive away is Benidorm and all the facilities in Benidorm are wheelchair friendly so there’s no need to worry about getting around. Carrefoure hypermarket is no longer then five minutes away.

There are a number of Golf courses around Torrevieja, which with 320 days of sunshine a year is said by the world health organization to have the healthiest climate in Europe.

The disabled beach is 15 mins away by car and has disabled toilets showers free sunbeds and on certain days red cross volunteers are there to take you in to the sea in special aqua-chairs.

The 40ft swimming pool and jacuzzi (there are 2) is accessible by platypus pool chair via a ramp and handrails this and the gardens are all enclosed and private. The gardens are also planted with a number of tropical plants.
