We spent a lovely Christmas at Forge Cottage. It was magical! Location is perfect and David is an incredible host. We can’t wait to come back!
Beautiful cosy cottage , just a short walk into the village where you can find many restaurants / pubs / fish and chips and lovely independent shops !
This is a very well equipped cottage near the centre of Helmsley but very quiet. Everything was excellent and I would thoroughly recommend a stay here. Helmsley is a good centre for getting out and about and has lovely eateries, shops and buildings.
Fantastic cottage - kids loved exploring and was a real home from home and very well equipped. Lovely private garden and peaceful conservatory were also extremely well received. David was a very pleasant host and provided a generous welcome pack which kicked off the stay very nicely Overall a five star cottage, five star host and five star experience!
Beautiful cottage with everything you could need. The welcome package of bread, milk, wine, etc. was hugely appreciated. Great facilities throughout too - it was brilliant to have Bluetooth music players on hand! Fabulous location - 5 mins walk to the marketplace and so handy for local conveniences as well as travelling further afield. We had such a lovely week and the host is completely on the ball with any communication.
A beautiful cottage, in a lovely little town with a massive amount to do very close by. Forge Cottage was very well equipped, immaculate and cosy. We all loved it.
