Amazing Family Home

By Jules on 14-Jun-2024

We had the most wonderful time staying in this lovely family house. We are 6 adults, 3 children and two dogs. Extremely spacious clean and comfortable. Amazing views and a beautiful garden, in fact the children enjoyed playing in the garden more than they did playing on the beach ! The hot tub was extremely popular too. Easy walk, less than five minutes into the charming village of Mortoe and about 25 mins down the hill to Woolacombe, catch the bus back ! The coastal walks were breathtaking and there are plenty of different paths to choose, literally right on the doorstep. We spent a few hours one lovely summers evening at a nearby farm watching a bird of prey and sheepdog display, it's advertised locally and definitely worth a visit. To sum it all up Belvedere House is the place to go for an amazing family holiday I would definitely recomend this lovely home. Thank you to the owner Andrea who was truly helpful and to Sharon and her daughter, who tidied up after us !

A perfect family holiday home

By Trish Sheward on 25-May-2024

This holiday home is just as described but better. The host couldn't have been more helpful, we we're given lots of information on restaurants, walks, activities etc. The house has stunning views & fabulous coastal walks right on the doorstep. The sandy beach is a short walk away & the hot tub was a great success & used every night. We are a 3 generation family and this lovely house worked well for us all. Highly recommended.

A very well appointed home, masses of room, very quiet area, great views.

A very well appointed and comfortable house, everything provided. Stunning views. The owner went out of her way to make sure that any queries were immediately resolved. Very clean and tidy Garden was immaculate. We were so impressed that we have booked again for next year 2024.

A fabulous week.

Just back from a wonderful week at Belverdere with all the family, including our four grandchildren. We have stayed in self-catering accommodation throughout the UK on numerous occasions over the years and the booking and communication we have had with the owner Andrea Lacey has been the best we have ever experienced with any owner or agent. Andrea could not have been more helpful or accommodating. The accommodation and garden are lovely with fabulous views and the house is exceptionally well equipped. Having arrived in the dark we were amazed by the views when we opened the curtains the next morning, the view in the sunshine was stunning. Andrea provided reams of useful and helpful information on local eateries and places to visit. The hot tub was enjoyed by everyone including the grandchildren who loved to take a dip after their strenuous walks along the coastal paths. We have come away with a lot of happy memories and photos to treasure, simply brilliant!

Thank you for your very kind review Adrian. I’m so happy to hear that you and your multi-generational family enjoyed your holiday at Belvedere.

Amazing house with fantastic views. Perfect spot to relax and unwind.

By Heather Petts on 29-Mar-2023

What a fabulous house with breathtaking views. All the bedrooms are good sizes with two with wonderful uninterrupted views of the coast. The master bedroom is a particular treat. The kitchen is very well appointed also with fabulous views as does the lounge. We had a lovely multigenerational family celebration break at Belevdere. Andrea was so lovely, being so kind and informative. The welcome gifts the best we have ever had - another absolute treat. The hot tub of course was an added bonus that was a welcome retreat after coastal path walks and also a great spot for star gazing. Being able to charge the car was also a help. We cannot recommend this house enough - a real gem. Thank you Andrea for helping make this such a special stay.

Family reunion

By Sheila Taylor on 16-Jul-2022

We had a wonderful time getting together for a long awaited family holiday with our two children and their partners, and our four grandchildren . Belvedere is situated in a magical spot in Mortehoe with the most breathtaking seaview. The house is spacious and well equipped and is a perfect place to relax and unwind . We explored five different beaches during our stay ,and enjoyed walking on the coastal path which can be accessed through a gate at the bottom of the garden. Andrea was communicative and quick to respond to any queries, and was extremely knowledgeable about things to do in the local area. All in all it was a brilliant week and I would wholeheartedly recommend Belvedere to friends and family.
