A lovely home from home, we spent a mid week break ((Mon-Fri) here. We all appreciated the location of this cottage, watching the boats and birds every morning through the lounge windows ( it was a bit too chilly to be outside!). The property was nicely furnished, clean and convenient. I appreciated being able to park the car some days and walking into the village shops, takeaways etc ( just 2 mins over the bridge). The children enjoyed playing hide and seek on all 3 levels and the games provided. Ideally located to explore the broads- try a boat trip from How Hill and Bewilderwood is close by.
Very nice warm and comfortable everything we needed to enjoy our stay.Good location especially in the colder months when everything is so close. My husband enjoyed the fishing and caught quite a few.We would definitely stay there again
Stayed here at end of May at short notice. Excellent response and customer service from the two very helpful ladies at the owners office and all booking paperwork very efficient Would highly recommend this firm who also own the cottage next door Anchor Cottage. Both are located at the end of a quiet culdesac with their own off road parking space and even a small garage containing a deep freeze and bait fridge if you fish We found the cottage spotlessly clean and very spacious for a family or group of friends. The sliding patio door opens from the lounge onto a small terrace and decking area with table and chairs and small patch of grass useful for a dog. The little white gate in the riverside fence opens onto your own mini quayside and you could moor a hire boat if you wished. We were glad of the good central heating as the weather was unusually cold and rather wet. It was a delight feeding the swans and ducks who would come jostling for position for grain (sold in bags just over the bridge) each morning Only 5 minutes walk over the bridge into town and food shops pub etc. This is a well equipped holiday rental with good Wifi too !
Returned last week after our weeks holiday at Riverside cottage and what an amazing place it is! Lovely warm welcoming place to stay, great fishing from the front, small compact garden and decking area which was great for us having our two dogs with us. Everything you could want in in the house including a bait fridge in the garage and a small chest freezer. Having been to Wroxham numerous times over the years staying in cottages, bungalows and boats this is now our go to place! Another plus for us was the great Wifi service, you don't often get such great speeds. Owners are superb to deal with and handle any queries in super fast time! Do not hesitate to book, you won't be disappointed.
House was well equipped, everything we needed was there. Nice and warm, good heating system which we needed as weather wasn't that good.Clean and tidy. Super location. Everything went without a hitch. Will be staying there again.
Needed accommodation for dogs and us with shortish notice but wanted something that gave comfort and no hassle. Ideal accommodation, tidy and shows efforts made to keep in good condition. For the time of year was warm and simple instructions on everything needed. We did not use the full capacity of the property but it has lots of room and great location. We would use again and the fact we have left feedback says a lot as we do not usually bother. Owners helpful, easy contact and polite. We arrived in the middle of the night but no issues in getting access which you cannot say about a lot of rentals.
