We have just returned from a weekend stay at Sherriffs house, it was with friends and family to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday. There was 14 of us, all couples but it was more that adequate for us all. The kitchen, dining room and lounge were lovely and roomy and the bedrooms were really comfy. The house itself had loads of character and the snug added a little extra for the younger ones. The only thing that we weren’t really impressed with was the water pressure especially when flushing the toilet and even when washing up in the kitchen. We didn’t have great weather but that didn’t dampen our stay.
My husband & I booked The Sheriff House at the end of October for 1 week. We took along my 80 year old parents and our 3 children & their partners plus our new grandchild & our cockapoo. The house was stunning and had plenty of space & bathrooms for us all to share. We lived like millionaires for the week, spent time in the fabulous garden feeding the swans & waving as boats went past. We don’t believe we would ever find a better house to hire which could accommodate the whole family and would meet everyone’s needs. Thank you & well done to everyone involved with this property.
We stayed for a long weekend. 11 of us to celebrate dads birthday, we couldn’t have chosen a more perfect house. Very clean and spacious. You need space when sharing with family !! Beautiful garden with lovely views of the river. We went on Bure Valley Railway for a trip to Aylesham where we had lunch and brought huge croissants for the next days breakfast. A visit to the 2 chocolate shops is a must. Then back to wander around beautiful Wroxham. Sunday Lunch at the Kings Head was not the best and we went too early in the season for the paddle boat ride which was a shame. Overall lovely house with great facilities, we plan on returning next year for a week in the summer to make the most of the garden.
