The cottage has been lovingly restored after many years serving as the Bank in Woolacombe Village.
It is a 3 minute stroll to the glorious 2 miles of the award winning beaches of Woolacombe Bay, where you can surf and paddle board. The Bank, has an airy open plan, living, dining and kitchen area. It has a kingsize bedroom and a twin bedroom on the first floor and double bedroom in the loft, sleeping 6 people. It has one bathroom, containing a separate bath and shower. The kitchen though small is well equipped with a dishwasher, coffee machine, microwave and freezer. Linen and towels are provided (excluding beach towels). There is free wifi, DVD player (bring your own DVDs) and lots of board games. A private Parking space is available near by. We don't have any outside space, but, frankly, who needs it with the glorious beach practically on your doorstep.
The Bank is right in the village, moments away from pub, restaurants, small amusement park, crazy golf and nine hole pitch and putt golf and the hotel nearly next door, has a spa and luxury cinema open to the general public.
Bookings in the May Half Term and State School Summer Holidays come with your very own beach hut, equipped with deckchairs, windbreak and table and chairs.
Woolacombe has just received official designation as a World Surfing Reserve (WSR) so is excellent for surfing or learning to surf (with a nearby surf school) or paddle boarding if it’s a calm day.
