Widemouth Bay is a small village a few miles south of Bude on the Cornish Atlantic Coast. Widemouth Bay has two surfing beaches, North and South Beaches. South Beach welcomes dogs all year round and North Beach between the end of October and the end of March. They are large sandy beaches with rock pools and lifeguards during peak season. Widemouth Bay has a good selection of cafes, pubs and restaurants. The South West Coast Path goes through Widemouth Bay and there are many other footpaths including the scenic Bude Canal. Bude is well served with a wide range of shops, entertainment and eateries. There are many beautiful, interesting beaches just a few miles north and south of Widemouth Bay.
