Description

Our welcoming cottage is surrounded by sea on three sides, on the iconic North Coast 500 route in the far north of Scotland. It is the perfect base for getaways for couples, adventures with the kids, walks with the dog, and discovering the history of this little-known part of Scotland.

You can step out of the cottage and onto the John o'Groats trail, going past the gate. Or get in the car to explore the castles and cottages, ancient monuments and the WW2 history trail. The views are special, and the skies are spectacular.

Guest comment most of all on the peace and quiet, the magical setting, and the attention to detail in the cottage. If it's blowing a hooley outside, cosy up with our lighthouse books, family favourite DVDs, and familiar board games, or cook up a storm for a family feast.
