Overview
Description
The property is located just a few minutes' walk, with a direct path a few doors away, from the town centre and harbour in a quiet residential neighbourhood. It benefits from being on one level internally, has off street parking / a garage for up to two cars. It has easy access to all amenities, including the local supermarkets, historic town centre, harbour, railway station and many excellent restaurants, to suit all tastes, for eating out. There is a convenient paved lit walkway/path, with a handrail, a minutes walk away that takes you right into the town centre by the harbour / railway station. The bungalow benefits from having been modernised / redecorated throughout, to include a new bathroom, kitchen and conservatory; that leads off the newly created lounge/dining area complete with a gas fire and fireplace. It consists of two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two singles, ideal for families or two couples. The views from the conservatory and outside balcony provide views of the local park and the town centre. The property has Freeview and FreeSat television installed.
Whitby is an ideal getaway for those wishing to take in the nostalgic town centre with its quaint narrow streets - little changed from Captain Cooks day, the famous abbey. harbour and of course the stunning beaches. Local attractions also include boat trips, walks, museums, amusement arcades and the North Yorkshire Steam Railway that now runs into the town from the dales. A little further out of town is the picturesque North Yorkshire Moors and 'Heartbeat Country', numerous small fishing villages/towns up and down the coast and countryside walks.

Leave ReviewFabulous place to stay
By Louise on 17-Mar-2025We loved this property. Close to the town centre but in quiet residential street, well equipped and very comfortable. Spotlessly clean, too. There is parking on the driveway and a large, gravelled garden with seating areas. Cockapoo Teddy loved exploring. It's not far from the station, either, so someone relying on the train could stay without the need for a car. We will certainly be returning!
Great place, great location
By Ed, linda & Toby dog on 14-Sep-2024Everything needed for a stay near whitby centre , very clean comfy beds and great facilities. Lovely in the morning with a coffee sitting in the conservatory.
Lovely Bungalow in Whitby.
By Liz and family. on 17-Aug-2024We have just returned home from a lovely week in this bungalow in quiet corner of Whitby. Our host Robert was very efficient and friendly. Everything was clean and comfortable. We had lovely views over Pannett Park and were able to watch the Regatta Fireworks display from the comfort of the conservatory!I would definitely recommend the bungalow for a small family or couple with a small dog.

By 758karena on 25-May-2024This is an amazing place to we have stayed 3 times now and never disappointed, the owner Robert is brill and gives all the information you need . The best bit it is near to all amenities Chippys , pubs , beach but in a quite location so no noise, it’s a real home from home.
Well equipped, great location, good value
By Kezs252 on 11-Feb-2024This is our 3rd stay here - with a 4th on the horizon in October all being well. Robert is always very responsive to any booking or query. Kitchen is well equipped if you don’t want to eat out all the time. And a great conservatory to relax in after long walks. Short walk down a hill into the centre of Whitby, with lots of cafes, restaurants and pubs to choose from. Quiet residential location so best of both worlds. Parking is a bonus. Our dog is always happy here as so quiet and cosy. Thanks again Robert.
