Just coming to the end of a week in China Cottage and wanted to leave a little review. Home Farm is brilliant for families with kids (our girls are 6 and 11). The pool was ideal and never too busy and it was great to have books, DVDs and games to borrow. The location is ideal for all the local attractions. Highlights for us were Bewilderwood, crabbing at Blakeney and a day out at Wells. Lovely Danish pastries at the village shop so try to visit there at least once during your stay! Overall a great stay and we'd definitely recommend Home Farm to our friends x
Sally and Paul (but particularly Sally) are great hosts. The cottages are well maintained and the folder is updated every year telling us about the family news and what to do in the area. My family and I have been coming to Home Farm Cottages for approximately 10 years. The swimming pool is fab as is the games room etc. The friendships my children have made grow year on year as we all seem to meet up. It's a great place for families to come together, make new friends or resume old friendships.
We had an absolutely fab stay in our cottage Farm End, everything so well presented and clean! Facilities great and loved the swimming pool and games room. The surrounding area is beautiful and again so well kept to look naturally beautiful. I would recommend these cottages!
Another fabulous week at Home Farm! Home from home - everything perfect as usual. I love the fresh flowers! We all love the fabulous indoor pool which we used this year to cool us down rather than warm us up! The indoor games room excellent and a constant source of competition! The cottages are so well looked after and the welcome is so warm. Highly recommend.
When you enter the village of Weybourne, you are faced with signs “Slow you down”. At first glance you may think that these are related to the speed you are driving- Wrong.... it’s an instruction to slow your life down and enjoy your stay! Lapwing is a beautiful cottage -a real home from home. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we were delighted to find our cottage available so we stayed an extra night to squeeze in another day of fun. We filled our days with trips to beautiful beaches, seal watching, fun at Sheringham Park, crabbing at Well next sea and a day of messing about on our bikes at Kelling Heath- the only thing we could have wished for was more time, but all good things must come to an end. Thank you Sally - we will be back!
Just back from a four night stay in Peewit Cottage. Can highly recommend staying here especially if you have little ones. Cottage was cosy, very clean and well stocked and lots of helpful advice available on things to see and do in the area.
