A perfect holiday cottage in Weybourne for all the family
Weybourne is an old fishing village where you can still see the crab boats bring in their catch, the boats being hauled up onto the shingle beach. During the second World War the village was used as a listening base and you can still visit the famous Muckleburgh Collection and see the original radar and radio station along with the huge collection of military vehicles. There is a very interesting local history section with many photos of wartime in the village, very well worth a visit. You also have the North Norfolk Steam Railway right on your doorstep, Weybourne Station is on the Poppy Line and you can travel to Holt and Sheringham in style. The beach is shingle and steep but you have sandy beaches on your doorstep with West Runton, Sheringham and Cromer, to the east or Wells to the west. The walk along the cliff tops into Sheringham is beautiful and the views are magnificent, taking in Sheringham golf course on the way!
