Fabulous quirky cottage, perfect for a get together with very dear friends.... loads of space and the large kitchen table was perfect for our lovely dinner on the first night and lazy breakfasts.
Perfect accommodation for a large group ranging from 10 to 70+ years, well equipped and very comfortable. Galton''s Cottage is in a great location with cycle trails and lovely walks close by. Shops very close too. The children loved the games room and the adults loved the bar!! The welcome basket and flowers very much appreciated.
I would definitely use Short Stay Homes again. I can’t fault this company. The communications were very forthcoming and if I had an issue it was dealt with promptly. Payment links and reminders were easy to navigate and use and the deposit paid back promptly after our stay.
Glatons cottage was lovely 16 of my family game and we had a wonderful time thanks for all your help cyril and lucinda cx
We (our family and friends) have a great time at Galtons Cottage despite it raining from the moment we got there to the moment we left. The facilities and space, as well as the small touches, made it a break to remember with lots of laughter throughout our stay.
What a fantastic cottage!! It was ideal for a family get together. It was immaculate on arrival, hopefully, we left it in the same state, even though plenty of food was eaten, cooked in the spacious kitchen, plenty of drink was drunk and enjoyed around the massive dining room table. It had a bar in the snug which we used on the first night, but the open plan dining room/kitchen was the hub of our socialising. Highly recommended for anyone with a big family or going away with friends. The New Forest on the doorstep as is Bournemouth and Poole. Exceptional week away.
