You are also just seconds away from The Crown and The Globe, two of Wells’ best pubs/restaurants.
A grand communal entrance hall leads to the apartment, which being on ground level with no internal steps, is perfect for guests of all generations.
The property features high ceilings, period features, is spacious and flooded with light.
There is a wonderful, open plan kitchen, dining, living room featuring a contemporary kitchen and spacious dining area overlooking the scenic leafy green. Garden flat is our favourite
By The Hartshorn's on 19-Nov-2024We've stayed in Wells for many years and, for the last few, have stayed in three different flats in Monteagle. Of these, the garden flat is our favourite. Very spacious, very well equipped and comfortable. The wood burner is great on a chilly November evening, too! We love Wells, especially at this time of the year. The Crown, Globe and Bang are all excellent place to eat and drink, and Staithe St is a lovely place to mooch about for a few hours. We also love the walk to the beach, and sometimes you can see the seals too.

Really enjoyed staying in the Garden Flat
By The Mulder's on 04-Oct-2024Really enjoyed staying in the Garden Flat. It was perfect for us as an Autumn get away. We usually stay in Burnham Market or Burnham Overy so interesting to compare. Liked the ability to walk to many amenities, shops, cafes and restaurants. Really enjoyed Flour and we had some great take away pizzas. Would recommend. Did all our usual things, beach, shops, restaurants all fantastic as always.

Excellent amenities in the apartment, particularly for rainy days, with an impressive collection of books, games and films, plus a huge selection of TV channels. Something for everyone. Well equipped kitchen, big comfy sofas, and huge dining table in a very sunny window overlooking the green. Comfy beds and modern bathrooms. Everything well maintained and to a high standard. Perfect place for a family holiday or for a group of friends.
