There is so much to love about this welcoming cottage including features such as exposed brickwork, beams, a Range and a wood burning stove, making this perfect for year-round breaks. With one of the best beaches in the area, a picturesque quay and a truly unique high street, this location has so much to offer. Head for a spot of sunbathing or a stroll along the wide sandy beach and enjoy the pretty painted beach huts that line the way. Or sit on the much-photographed quay and watch the boats gently bobbing in the surf. Then wander along Staithe Street and enjoy the mix of artisan and traditional cafes, restaurants and boutique shops, all of which are just perfect for a spot of pottering.
Many visitors park up for the week and just enjoy this great location but venture a little further and you will be spoilt for choice. With coastal habitats ranging from sand and shingle beaches, salt and clay marshes and rolling sand dunes, you can head East or West from here and enjoy a chain of seaside villages, many with great places to eat. Head East to Blakeney for a spot of crab lining or take a seasonal boat trip to see the seals or venture a little further to Cromer and stroll along the pier and Edwardian promenade. Or head West to Hunstanton and enjoy all the fun of the fair and explore traditional seaside attraction such as their Sealife centre.
History buffs should make time to explore the Holkham, Houghton and Sandringham Estates and nature lovers will find wildlife in abundance. In fact, the sightseeing opportunities in this part of Norfolk are too numerous to list.
