Description
Tone Dale House offers you a warm welcome the moment you step through the door. This beautiful historic mansion has been lovingly cared for by the Fox family for well over 200 years. The 15 spacious bedrooms and 10 bathrooms offer all the flexibility needed for a large group and unlike a hotel, the whole house is exclusively yours during your stay.
If you are a smaller group of up to 21 guests, you can book the main house without the addition of The Stables. This is not let separately so it would remain empty during your stay.
Whether you are looking for a fun filled activity weekend, a family holiday or a quiet getaway, then Tone Dale House has it all.
The cinema/party room is a great space for film nights.....cosy up in the blankets and don't forget the popcorn. Or simply push the sofas back, put on your favorite tunes to dance the night away. The games room offers a pool table, table tennis & table football, so a great chance to show off your hidden talents! In the drawing room you will find a large open log fire and comfy sofas, so a perfect space to gather before dinner for drinks or to just relax after a fun filled day. If you want a little quiet time by yourself, there is also a small living room where you can sneak away with a good book.
The large dining room is wonderful for for celebration diners and if you are the chef in the group, you are going to love the huge kitchen. It has everything you need to prepare, cook and show off your 'signature' dish and for the chefs helpers, there are 2 large dishwashers ....so no one has to wash up and plenty of fridge space to keep those drinks well chilled.
Outside you can enjoy the 4 acre garden with its magnificent trees and vast lawns. Why not try a garden game, maybe croquet or badminton or just sit back in the Hot Tub and just......relax...
If you want to venture out and explore the surrounding area then just a short drive will get you to some beautiful Somerset countryside, perfect for walking off that Sunday brunch! Somerset has a lot to offer with its history, stately homes, beaches and famous attractions such as Cheddar Gorge and the West Somerset steam railway.
