The house was in a perfect position to pop to the shops, go for something to eat or head out and explore. The house was beautifully decorated and the host, Frank, had thought of everything! There were various teas, coffee, condiments, milk, biscuits and a bottle of Prosecco. We were five adults staying here and there was plenty of room to sleep and relax. Lovely modern bathrooms with a gorgeous little roof terrace to soak up the sun. Parking was a little hairy as we had quite a big car to reverse up a drive way to get to the parking spot. But this was the only slight negative.

Just home from a lovely family week away at the Hideaway with my husband, elderly parents and little dog! We all had a wonderful time and really enjoyed staying in such a well located, comfortable house! Francis met us to check in and show us around, which was appreciated. The house was perfect for my parents; comfortable beds, a big shower and very warm. We where blessed with a whole week of sunshine too, so the lovely garden was perfect for some afternoon sun! Francis had put so much effort into making the house welcoming, with drinks, biscuits, tea & milk for our arrival, and lots of info on places to go locally. Most appreciated was how clean everything was and little touches, like flowers round the house that made it really special. We had a fantastic week, visiting the tank museum, steam railway, Monkey World and even got in the parade at Wimborne Folk Festival! My parents had the best holiday ever, thank you to Francis for all the effort and care shown; a fantastic holiday!!

Francis is a phenomenal host, offering tremendous recommendations and detailed instructions for everything. The location is very central, yet the garden is peaceful and sun-drenched. The terrace gets sun mist of the day and is sheltered from any wind too. The house is spotless, tastefully decorated, well-appointed and comfortable. All-in-all pretty much faultless and a thoroughly recommended base to explore what is a beautiful part of the world.
