We enjoyed a beautiful week in this lovely home. The house is divine and all the little details wee appreciated from the games room to the TV , the hot tub (which was very much enjoyed whilst dealing with the rain -it’s undercover and made a dreary day so much more enjoyable). the pool was the perfect size for a few laps and there is ample outside seating and areas to either spend time with each other or find a little private spot to recharge. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated- I had the Emeral room which was both oppulant by design and incredibly comfortable .. There is nothing negative I can say about my stay, the home is ideally situated away from towns but incredibly close also , there is an easy 5k walk to a town should you fancy it - we did as well as other walking routes (which are along the road somewhat but the rads were not busy at all) . To finish - would I stay again? 100% absolutely loved it!
Myself and 3 friends stayed at La Grange de Lavande for a week at the beginning of September and I can honestly say the pictures do not do it an ounce of justice. The owners were so welcoming & the first night we had a charcuterie board made for us which was just amazing. The house and grounds are stunning, there’s a fabulous pool and patio for sunbathing or playing one of the many games they have. We also enjoyed chilled out moments in the hot tub, pure luxury. The house itself has everything you could possibly need and more, from coffee machine and dishwasher to a washing machine and drying room. The house is situated very close to a intermarche which is only a short drive away, the town also has an amazing bakery and chocolatiers. We visited local markets and shops and just soaked up the culture and beauty of the area. Our hosts could not do enough for us and useful notes can be found in the hallway of the house with details of local restaurants, markets and attractions. I cannot recommend this place enough, whether you’re holidaying with friends or family with children, they have every detail covered. I cannot wait to return.
We recently had the pleasure of spending a week at La Grange de Lavende in Villeréal, and it was, without a doubt, one of the best French holidays our family has experienced. The house is a beautifully restored farmhouse with wonderful surroundings. The house itself has a rustic charm but with modern comfort. The traditional French elements and contemporary touches, made it feel both luxurious and welcoming. The spacious living areas, comfortable bedrooms, and well-equipped kitchen ensured that we had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The outdoor space was equally impressive. The large, private garden with a pool provided outside areas with plenty of room for the children to play and for the adults to relax. La Grange de Lavende is well located with Villeréal just a short drive away. We loved exploring the local area, visiting nearby towns and villages. The peace and tranquility of the countryside, combined with the convenience of being close to such a lovely town, made this the perfect base for our holiday. The owners of La Grange de Lavende were very welcoming and informative, and even though they live on site, we were hardly aware of them. In summary, La Grange de Lavende exceeded all our expectations. It provided the perfect setting for a large family holiday, with its wonderful house and stunning location. We left feeling completely rejuvenated and can't wait to return. Highly recommended!

The property was beautiful and had absolutely everything you would need. Karen (and Nick and Hudson) were the perfect hosts. So accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Was always bothering Karen by text for information on something or other in the local area but she was always quick to respond. Karen had thought of everything and there are toys and games a plenty, as well as books and DVDs. Kitchen facilities and equipment also spot on. Could have baked cakes and cooked a meal for 10 easily. Not that you want to be indoors too much in this house, as the outdoor areas are just beautiful and the swimming pool is glorious. Local area is lovely and Villereal has so much going on. Lots to see and do. 100% recommend. Even our dog loved it - she thought she lived there by day two!
We had an excellent stay at La Grange de Lavande for a week in mid-June 2024. The house is very well appointed with specious light rooms and everything you would need and expect from a large family holiday home. Outside there is even more space, loads of private parking, a wide selection of outside areas both in and out of the sun, and the just completed new pool and decking are superb. The house is in a wonderfully quiet rural setting, but within an easy short drive to the most beautiful bastide small town of Villereal that has a large supermarket, as well as fantastic local shops and a not to be missed weekly market. Other equally stunning bastide towns are all within easy reach too. Absolutely a 5-star experience that we would highly recommend.
