What a wonderful stay at Beau Rivage! My family and my sister’s family stayed here for a week in July, and it was just perfect. Donna was so helpful pre-arrival, and answered our questions about the area and the house without hesitation. We arrived on a Sunday and so no shops were open, so the offer of some food and drinks on arrival was fantastic, as was the opportunity to hire beach towels. We arrived into beautiful Longeville-sur-mer on a sunny day and opened the house door and we loved it straight away! A lovely, airy downstairs with patio doors that opened up to the pool - a very safe and considered pool for young children - with lots of sun loungers and chairs to lounge around on. The bedrooms and bathrooms were thoughtfully decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could need - along with a fab drinks fridge. Bright, airy, and so comfortable. We felt at home, away from home. Donna also had lots of special touches throughout the house which made it very special. A little treasure hunt for the kids when we arrived which was thoughtful and fun! (I remember going to villas in France when I was a child, and there was nothing like this haha!). The area itself is beautiful. Right next to the house is a play park, and a short walk to the village took you to the BEST bakery which we got breakfast and baguettes at every morning, and some lovely little restaurants and a creperie. The village is so clean and pretty. There is a larger supermarche in the village too which is very handy. The coast area is lovely with so many nice beaches - and warm sea! And just over 1 hour drive from the airport - excellent location. I will not hesitate to recommend Beau Rivage for a family holiday. We had a brilliant time and we aim to be back very soon. The house is impressively well set up for children with the playroom, stair gates, monitors, lunchboxes, nappy changing table, high chairs etc etc. It also has the best stocked kitchen of any holiday house I’ve been to, which makes a big difference when cooking for large groups!
The playroom was a wonderland for the kids, offering an array of toys and equipment that kept the kids engaged for hours. From the ball pit to the dressing up clothes and the selection of dinosaurs, it was a kid''s paradise - my kids wouldn''t take the dresses off and wore them out to dinner most nights! The heated pool and hot tub were a hit, offering a perfect setting for relaxation and enjoyment. But what truly set Beau Rivage apart was the outstanding service provided by Donna. She went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was hassle-free and unforgettable. Our kids had the time of their lives exploring the playroom and enjoying all the toys and equipment. From the train tracks to the building blocks, they were kept entertained throughout our stay. It was a delight to see them so happy and content. Beau Rivage is the perfect choice for families looking for a home away from home, where kids can have a blast, and adults can relax. We can''t wait to return to Beau Rivage.
The villa offered everything we could wish for and more. It was spacious, well-equipped, and beautifully decorated. The playroom was a big hit with the kids, keeping them entertained for hours. The heated, fenced pool and hot tub were perfect for relaxation and enjoyment for the adults. Donna, the owner was lovely and provided exceptional service from start to finish. She went out of her way to ensure that our stay was comfortable and hassle-free. Her dedication and attentiveness made our holiday truly special. Exploring the nearby attractions added an extra layer of excitement to our holiday. The go-karting track, water park, zip wire park, and dinosaur parks provided endless fun for the whole family - especially the kids. The sandy beaches which were just a short drive away and perfect for the kids. They were also amazing and the big boys too (AKA dads!) who decided to hire kayaks and foils, so this made our beach days even more memorable (great photos of the boys having fun!) Our stay at Beau Rivage was unforgettable, thanks to the perfect blend of a wonderful villa, top-notch service, and a range of nearby attractions. We can''''t wait to return and create more cherished memories!
This villa is ideally located to explore the charming village (Longeville sure mer), where a variety of bars, cafes, and restaurants just a short walk away. Whether you''''re in the mood for cafe, a cold glass of wine, amazing fresh food from the local village market on a Friday morning, the fabulous cave to pick up a cheap litre of wine or a dining experience with the kids in the evening at one of the restaurants - the village (just a minutes walk) has you covered ;-) Beau Rivage is not just a villa - It''s a unique destination where we could access everything so easily and without stress which is just what 8 adults (including grandparents) and 7 kids needed for a well needed holiday. In fact, aside from strolling down to the village, we hardly ventured out because the villa had everything and more that we needed. It was truly a fantastic discovery, and we would definitely book it again.
Our stay at Beau Rivage exceeded our wildest expectations, making it a dream holiday for our family. The villa provided ample space and was thoughtfully equipped to cater to our every need. The playroom was a haven for our kids, ensuring their constant entertainment, while the heated, fenced pool and hot tub became a favourite gathering spot for both kids and adults. But what truly set our experience apart was the exceptional service provided by Donna & Jay - the owners. Their dedication and attentiveness were unmatched. Donna went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect, creating an unforgettable holiday for all the kids, which was so very much appreciated. From addressing the needs of our children to catering to the desires of the adults, Donna''s commitment to our comfort was truly remarkable and nothing we''ve experienced anywhere else. Beau Rivage is definitely the ideal choice for accommodating three generations seeking an incredible holiday experience, and we can''t recommend it highly enough. We will cherish the memories we made there for years to come :)
