We have no words to describe our stay: it was just too fabulous. The loving generosity of the John and Beverley did not extend only to a hamper of goodies but ferrying us to the station and back multiple times, accompanying us on walks, teaching us about English mores in conversation and even replacing the entire shower unit that was a bit temperamental. Ashok got a birthday present ahead of the day and we returned to India laden with gifts. The cottage itself was warm, snug and extremely comfortable - and incredibly clean. John and Beverley have given us something more than just a great stay in Kent: they have reinforced our faith in human beings in a world that is selfish and often unkind. We've made friends for life and will definitely return, God willing.

We are blown away with your comments thank you so much. It was our honour and delight to meet you both. We will meet again!
This was my second visit to Kath Cottage, at a warmer time of the year. The standard was at the same high level. Bev kindly replaced some of the food I had left behind, plus a few extras. I was able to explore the countryside, going for long walks, past where the apple pickers were starting work on the harvest. I hope to return soon.
The vibes are really good at Kath's Cottage. Your hosts, Bev and John, really care and it shows in the way they present their cottage. If your standards are high, you won't be disappointed. The 'Welcome Pack' is outstanding, especially if you like delicious home baking. The location is excellent; close to town, but with countryside literally on your doorstep. The peaceful cottage garden is viewed from the dual aspect kitchen windows which catch the morning sunlight. Finds like this don't come along often. A real gem. I hope I get the chance to return.

Thank you so much your lovely comments..yes I hope we do get a chance to meet again
We have stayed in many places around the uk, this by far is the best. John and Bev have been great hosts with a well stocked larder on our arrival including homemade bread and cake plus a bottle of wine. Two weeks of glorious sunshine, a good pub just down the road and many places of interest not too far away to visit.
We would have loved this cottage regardless as it’s ideal for 2, great facilities and good location. But it was made even better by having Beverley and John as hosts. They are outstanding, friendly and helpful. Even took us and picked us up from the train station when we went to Wimbledon for the tennis. And the home made cakes and bread topped the week. Would highly recommend, one of the best cottages we have stayed in, in any country.

Thank you Steve and Joy for your generous and lovely comments. It was a pleasure meeting you both and certainly enjoyed our chats. Hopefully, will we meet again!
Enjoyed our stay very much ,due to the warm welcome from the owners John and Bev who were most helpful and very kind. The accommodation is lovely and comfortable and very well placed for touring Kent and all its historic houses and coast . Trains to London can be caught easily from Tonbridge if you fancy seeing a show . Hope we can go back again Really enjoyed it
