Description
Ebb Tide is a comfortable, cosy detached cottage positioned in the hamlet of Trevillick, about a mile outside Tintagel. Situated just off the coastal path between Trebarwith and Tintagel, it is just a few minutes walk to the cliff tops and has sea views from all of the upstairs windows, and fabulous views over Tintagel and the hills behind. There is a large kitchen / sitting room, a separate snug, three double bedrooms - each with space for a cot if required - and a double bunk room that sleeps four children, three bath / shower rooms along with an enclosed, lawned garden, making it perfect for family groups keen to explore all of the beautiful beaches, scenery and attractions of North Cornwall.The cottage has wifi, two televisions, a DVD player (and many films) and a fully stocked bookshelf and toy box for you to enjoy. There is oil fired underfloor heating throughout and heated towel rails in the bathrooms. The beds will be made up to your specification prior to arrival - you will need to bring your own towels. There is off road, private parking for up to four cars.
The beautiful, tidal beach at Trebarwith Strand is a thirty minute walk along the cliffs, or a five minute drive. Tintagel Castle (managed by English Heritage) and Merlin's Cove are about a twenty minute walk in the opposite direction. There are more beautiful beaches, accessible at all times, at Polzeath, Crackington Haven and Widemouth Bay, and many picturesque villages to explore along the coast - including Boscastle, Port Isaac (home of Doc Martin and the singing fishermen), Padstow and Rock and inland there is the rugged beauty of Bodmin Moor. There are many great pubs and restaurants nearby, several takeaway restaurants and local grocery stores in Tintagel.
Our change-over day is Monday, which, due to availability of the cleaners, is not negotiable in peak periods. Further details and information are available from the owner. We're sorry we don't accept any pets. Whilst we do sleep 10, we can only take 6 adults as the bunk beds are not appropriate for adult guests.

The location was perfect and the house itself comfortable, well sized and warm and cozy. Clair, the owner, was very attentive and easy to speak to and we appreciate her flexibility with our dates. I would recommend Ebb Tide to anyone looking for a spacious, well equipped and ideally situated house in Tintagel.
Wonderful week at Ebb Tide
By A Buffery on 12-Jul-2021We booked in 2019, missed 2020 as did most of the UK and finally got to stay at Ebb Tide in 2021 and it didn't disappoint. The house genuinely felt like a home rather than a holiday let and the facilities were great. Ample room for three cars if needed, very spacious Kitchen and well proportioned bedrooms. Three bathrooms with excellent showers got rid of a days beach sand and the garden provided plenty of room for the kids to run around in while having a BBQ. The cliffs are a 5/10 minutes walk from the house and you will then have great views of Tintagel Castle ruins. Local beach Trebarwith Strands is a lovely little spot overlooked by a nice pub and only 10 minutes away We loved it so much we are returning in 2021.
