Description
Forest Drove Cottage is our very own charming picturesque 300 year old thatched cottage close to all amenities and yet secluded, with 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and cloakroom in the New Forest. Sleeps up to 12This stunning cottage has a delightfully airy extension for the kitchen and dining area with underfloor heating and a cosy stove but also full of old world charm for the rest of the cottage, with beams, lattice windows and inglenook fireplace with wood stove. Within a very short walk of two pubs, a fish and chip shop, Tesco Express, a bakery and an off license, there are also great walks and cycle routes on the doorstep.

There is a luxury hot tub in the garden that seat 4-6 people £325* for a short break and £400* for 7 nights. Garden games room with darts and multi games table including table tennis, pool and air hockey. EV Charging now available please visit our website for more details.
There are lovely gardens to front and rear with a children's play frame and trampoline to rear and a decking area with garden seating and with barbecue. The decking is accessed through the patio doors of the extension.
If you require extra accommodation we have a VW Camper Van "Jessica" that can sleep 2 adults and 2 small children (Extra Charges apply and only available in the warmer months)
There is off road parking for 4 + cars with good road links and public transport nearby.
A wonderful Welcome pack is provided including a bottle of Prosecco, New Forest Spring Water locally produced Tutti Fruity Jam, Biscuits, Milk, Tea & Coffee. Also a discount Go New Forest card to be used locally which can provide discounts when used with participating businesses.

By The Wyke Family on 11-Apr-2025We loved it! All the wildlife round here is beautiful. We saw donkeys, stags, does, bunnies and so much more. Also the sun sets and sun rises were Amazing. We celebrated 3 birthdays of 40, 4 and 83 years; had a blast at Go Ape nearby. Thank you for the welcoming gift and everyone from 83 – 4 enjoyed their stay here. thoroughly. Adeline Aged 10 – I loved the games room , IT WAS AWESOME, I beat everyone except my Nana and my Uncle We recommend Burley it was the best sweet shop EVER!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you we shall hopefully come again
A lovely weekend spent at Forest Drove Cottage
By Margaret on 01-Apr-2025Spent a lovely celebratory weekend with our family, 10 of us in total with age range from 80 to 13, at Forest Drove Cottage. The cottage is spacious, homely, well equipped and tranquilly set. The hot tub and games room were a big hit, as was the decked outside space.
Delightful English quintessential cottage

Great for entertaining and everyone being together in one room. The home was full of sunlight during the day, nice & warm at night and plenty of hot water. Lovely to have washer/dryer, but if the dryer stops working trick is to empty to the water bucket at the bottom. It was much appreciated to have supplies on hand (dishwasher tablets, laundry detergent etc) and a basket a goodies on arrival. Thank you.

Very responsive and accommodating. We had issues with some of the mattresses during our stay but they promptly replaced after our stay.
