This is our third visit to Whistler House, which probably says it all. It really is ideal for a large family gathering, with plenty of room for everyone and all the equipment you could possibly need. The position of the house is just perfect and the views are simply amazing.
This is the second time we've stayed! We had a fantastic week in one of the best locations in Tenby. The location and the views of the harbour/beach from the bedrooms and terrace on that side of the house must be very hard to beat! Not having parking immediately available wasn't a problem because there are lots of car parks within a 4-5 minute walk. You can easily pull up outside the house if you need to but given the location, once you've unpacked, you just don't need to get in the car again! We had a shop delivered early on but in reality, given the proximity of the supermarkets, bakery etc, we didn't need to. The hosts are very easy to reach and extremely proactive if there is a problem.
The patio is where all the publicity shots of Tenby are taken from. The view just doesn't get any better. Location was perfect for all the beaches, harbour restaurants pubs and shopping. The house itself was spacious and worked really well for 3 generations,. Everyone could have their own space but the "communal areas" were such that a family of 8 could very very comfortably enjoy an evening meal around the same table - inside or outside. We loved it so much we've already booked for next year!
Large and comfortable house for big family group in Tenby . All rooms well equipped and the beds are so comfy! Basic needs all provided for. eg Tea , Coffee and bathroom supplies Would def recommend for super view of beach and welcoming facilities .
We had an amazing weekend at Whistler. The house was perfect for all 14 of us ranging from 2 to 68. There is so much room and the outside space is fantastic with one of the best views in Tenby. Location is perfect. And the beds are so comfy!
We had an amazing time at Whistler house. The communication was spot on throughout with helpful advice about food, parking and events. There was plenty of room and no queues for the showers or loos. The beds were so comfortable- everyone slept well. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony with a glass of wine in the evening. We had mixed weather- it poured down Friday and Saturday as boiling the rest of the weekend- great to see the beach in different climates- an amazing view! Parking at the multi storey was safe and easy to add time onto using the app. There is space outside to drop stuff quickly at the house. A great weekend and we will be back.
