WHY CHOOSE CASTLE VIEW HOUSE?The perfect location - straight out from the front door to the beautiful golden sands of North Beach and to Tenby high street.
The amazing view - straight out to sea and across to the harbour (and the castle, of course). The first word most guests say when walking into the drawing room is "wow"
The abundance of space across 2 adjoining house - Castle View has eight bedrooms, seven of them ensuite plus a large family bathroom with wooden tub, a massive first floor drawing room, a home entertainment room with giant tv, a dining room that seats 14 around an antique haberdasher's table, a dance floor, a second tv snug, a commercial style kitchen in the first house.
A further 3 beds and 3 bathrooms can be found in The Long House attached, making a truly memorable experience for large groups.
The exclusive parking - there is a private walled parking area at the bottom of the garden for up to 7 cars, a true rarity for a Tenby seafront house.
The pretty garden - another rarity, secluded, enclosed and green with lawns, a palm tree, borders, courtyard, decked seating area, outdoor shower and brand new outdoor kitchen.
The friendly town - Tenby is the quintessential seaside town, with award winning beaches, pastel coloured houses, a working harbour, a museum, and shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants in abundance. Perfect for families, walkers, artists, athletes (Ironman Wales is held here), friends, celebrations, retreats - everyone, really!
The huge range of activities - with so much to do in Tenby, indoors and out, some Castle View House guests arrive, park their cars and don't use them again until it's time to go home. Building sandcastles, beach cricket, swimming and paddling can occupy many happy hours, plus boat trips to Caldey Island, paddleboarding on North Beach, sea fishing, golf, indoor climbing, water and adventure sports (to name a few) are found within walking distance.
If you want to explore further afield a 15 minutes drive or less will bring you to a variety of extensive and well run family attractions, including Heatherton World of Activities, Manor Wildlife Park, the Dinosaur Park, Carew Karting, Folly Farm and Battlefield Live. Pembroke Castle, birthplace of Henry VII, is about 20 minutes away, as are the many independent shops of the market town of Narberth. There's plenty going on for all ages and all weathers - too many choices to list them all here!
The breathtaking area - Pembrokeshire is famously beautiful and unspoilt, with 186 miles of magnificent and varied coastline and over 50 beaches. Within easy reach of Tenby there are historic houses and gardens, lily ponds, National Trust woodlands, tidal mills, marinas...
BOOKING INFORMATION:
Week long bookings start on a Friday; during mid / low season three night weekend breaks are Friday - Monday or four nights Monday - Friday. There’s more flexibility for late bookings within two months of the start date. The property can be split into an 8 bed house and a 3 bed house if required.
The deposit is 25%, and the balance is due 8 weeks before arrival.
Check in is 4pm, and check out 10am. We will always offer an earlier arrival or later departure time if we don't have same day changeovers. A £300 returnable damage deposit is also payable.

By Helen Evans on 25-Apr-2025We absolutely loved this beautiful house which was perfect for our weekend celebration. Stunning views from the front room and a beautiful garden area at the back (which had plenty of afternoon and evening sun) made it difficult to choose where to sit! We didn’t get a chance to use the new barbecue but it looked very impressive. The house is very well equipped with plenty of kitchen equipment to cope with cooking for a large group as well as many large communal spaces to relax in. The location in Tenby was ideal because of the beautiful view and only being a few minutes walk from the town itself and the beach. Despite being so close to town, it wasn’t noisy at all and the soundproofing within the house was very effective. Parking was a real bonus. The owners were very responsive and communication all went smoothly. The beds were extremely comfortable and with lots of couples, it was useful to have so many en-suites. It really was the perfect stay and we can’t wait to go back.
Perfect house for inter generational celebrations

From crocheting in the magnificent drawing room with views out to north beach, to cwtching into the massive sofas in the cinema room or having a game of darts in the games space while being serenaded by someone on the piano. This house really does have it all.
A great time with friends

The view was out of this world and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the bay window.The back of the garden would be perfect for those warm summer evenings. We have already booked for next year so it shows how amazing this house is 😍

A fabulous place for the whole of our family

A lovely welcome hamper was there when we arrived. Plenty of toys for the grandchildren to keep them occupied, and dvds to watch. We loved it so much and would stay again.
Perfect for large groups

The property is a stone’s throw from the town centre and boasts breathtaking views over Tenby North Beach. All Tenby beaches can be reached within a few minute’s walk. What distinguishes the property is it’s ability to offer excellent amenities for large groups, whilst not compromising on the quality of accommodation. Location You couldn’t ask for a better location. Castle View allows you to enjoy everything Tenby has to offer without the need for a car. Accommodation The holiday home itself is nicely presented, with a stylish yet cosy interior. A lot of thought has clearly gone into the layout and design, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The rooms are spacious, well-furnished, and thoughtfully decorated and equipped. The main sitting room features large windows that frame the stunning sea views and time can easily be lost gazing out at the ever-changing horizon. The facilities are excellent, with everything you could need for a relaxing break. The kitchen is well equipped and an enormous dining table allows large groups to enjoy a meal together. All bedrooms are well decorated and most include an en-suite. There are also fantastic additional spaces, including a dedicated games room and a TV room, providing great entertainment options. The property is well suited to hosting children of all ages and is dog friendly. Hosts & Hospitality The hosts were a pleasure to deal with—friendly, communicative, and always happy to help when needed. They provided all the essential information ahead of our stay and were easy to reach if we had any questions. They respected our privacy, allowing us to fully enjoy the house without intrusion. A welcome pack and key essentials were included upon arrival. Amenities Castle View provides all the modern conveniences needed for a stay, including good WiFi coverage throughout the property, a fully equipped kitchen, and multiple comfortable lounge areas. The inclusion of the games room and TV room really sets this property apart, adding an extra level of enjoyment for guests of all ages. Parking in Tenby can sometimes be tricky, but the property includes a designated space. The location of the attached parking is not obvious but the host’s instructions for access are very clear. Overall Experience Castle View is an outstanding choice for any large group looking to experience the best of Tenby - it is clear that a lot of care has gone into creating a high quality guest experience. Would recommend.
