We were blown away by the size of this cottage upon arrival! The kitchen is newly done out and is huge and beautiful with patio doors to the gorgeous balcony and stunning views. Great to have two rooms downstairs with TVs if you have children/friends who want to relax separately. Very close to Barnstaple and lots to do in the area. We will definitely stay again!
The cottage was really nice it had everything you could want. We really enjoyed our stay.
We had such a good stay at this property we booked an extra three days. The cottage is roomy, comfortable and clean , with all the facilities you could need and is in a rural location within easy reach of all North Devon's attractions. Glorious views from the outside seating looking out over the hills and we spent several tranquil evenings there watching the birds and other wildlife. The owners were friendly and approachable and twice contacted us to make sure all was ok. Definitely a property to recommend and we hope to return sometime soon.
We spent a week with part of our family in May and came back for a long weekend on our own at this beautiful cottage It is in a lovely rural village but only 2 miles from Barnstaple, so within easy reach of shops and places to eat. The cottage is so well equipped with everything that we needed for both our stays. We found lots of lovely beaches, for our visit in May and plenty of great gardens to see on our stay in September. The garden at the cottage is beautiful and on both occasions we were able to eat outside. We will be booking to come back next year.
We spent the half term holiday here. Four adults and three children. The cottage is just as described. It's beautiful kept with everything that you could want in a home away from home. The gardens are beautiful and we were fortunate with the weather and able to sit out on the balcony for some meals and on the terrace for others. The toys and games kept the children happy while we got ready to go out. There are lots of wonderful beaches, gardens, woodland walks to enjoy in the area. We hope to come back soon.
