Leave ReviewLovely Cottage
By Hannah on 06-Jan-2025Lovely cottage in an excellent location for exploring Swanage and the local area. Alison was a perfectly communicative and considerate host. We stayed with small children for a couple nights over new years and had a lovely time.
Gorgeous House
By Gillian on 30-Dec-2024Perfect location and excellent host ! The house was gorgeous and so lovely to have all the Christmas decorations up. We felt very relaxed and just what was needed for a bit of down time between Christmas and New Year ! Would love to return.
Christmas 2024
By Ian on 28-Dec-2024My family and I stayed at Alison’s cottage over Christmas ‘24. We’ve visited Swanage previously but always in the summer - even grey and damp it’s still a charming little town, with easy access to coastal walks. The cottage is just a few minutes walk from the town centre. Parking outside the cottage wasn’t possible but we were able to find somewhere to leave the car a few minutes walk away. Inside the cottage looks exactly like the photographs. We spent a lot of our time either eating at the large dining table, or recovering from eating in the sitting room. All the bedrooms were spotlessly clean with comfortable beds. I genuinely don’t have a bad word to say about our stay. For reasons I won’t go into here, Christmas this year was always going to be a tough one - taking the family away to a different setting turned out to be just what we needed. And for that I am immensely grateful.

The property is comfortable, roomy and well equipped. Perfect for our young family and in easy walking distance of town, the beach, the steam train and good walks. Loved it!
